Diana nods once before gently taking Brandon's hand, "Ashia taught me this trick but I don't know if it will work for you. Sit down, close your eyes, and focus on your bond. Don't worry about telling me what you sense just focus on what you your spirit animal and your bond is like."


Ashia nods once standing beside Justin. Neither of them were willing to move until they knew that Seth had left.


"Yeah I'm offering Rue," Maya responds, "let's go if we're going. After all the Keepers are jumpy enough right now and Seth just made that worse."

Brandon hesitates before closing his eyes. His legs are restless and he peeks at Diana before shutting his eyes again. He attempts to shut off his curiosity of what could be outside, his imagination conjuring up the most basic, probable answers to the strangest, unrealistic possibilities. Matamba gets up from lounging and stands beside Brandon. She butts her head against his as though to tell him to focus. He begins to work on understanding his bond and spirit animal. It was subtle, the bond not having been something he had consciously thought of before.

Rue nods his head once, considers leaving his spirit animal to keep tabs on the Greencloaks, and picks up his pace to get to Olvan. Olvan, Rue, and Maya all reach Seth.

"Tell me what you sense," Diana instructs. She hopes that this helps Brandon and Matamba's bond, as it had with her own and Phantom's. "Keep in mind every bond is unique so the aid Matamba can give you is also unique."



Seth waits patiently for them, "Hello. I found something you might want to know about, I found that the Conquerors have a talisman. They have the Obsidian Ape of Kovo. I don't know what it does but I've also been working on another lead involving another issue. Ask your Keeper what they know about a special tree."

"Matamba is a mammal and she got fur in my mouth." Brandon mutters quietly, brushing the fur out. He takes a small breath and hones in on what he senses thanks to his bond with Matamba. He gets the general sense of where he is in relation to her - even as she begins to wander back to the perch she had found earlier and enjoys being in.

"A special tree.. any specific type of tree or why it is special?" Rue asks.
Olvan glances sideways at him. "I'm pretty sure that's what Seth just told us to ask the Keepers." He returns his attention to Seth. "Thank you for this information. However, I'm pretty certain I told you not to follow us or come to the place that we're meeting at. You could have sent some other messenger."

"The other reason I came is that I thought you should know that the Keeper isn't being straightforward," Seth glances towards Ashia who is fingering an arrow as the bow is pointing towards him. "I should get going before the arrow starts coming."
Quickly Seth retreats behind a tree to hopefully avoid whatever would be shot at him.




Diana smiles, "I could have told you that." Phantom stretches out beside Diana before looking over at Matamba. Phantom jumps up quickly growling slightly when he senses that Ashia has her bow out.
"Ignore it Phantom trust me, Ashia can handle herself."

Olvan nods in thanks. He was dealing with a thief who had been opposing Greencloaks' for some time; he couldn't believe everything she said, so he would have to fact check her later.

Brandon hesitates before telling Diana what he could sense -- he keeps some of the information to himself since he doesn't fully trust Diana or the Keepers yet. Matamba stays out of the way, watching the people beneath her as though she thinks herself better than them all.

"Good," Diana says, "I know you don't trust me, don't feel like you have to. I didn't trust the Keepers when I first met them."



Maya quickly agrees. She had a bad feeling that the Keepers especially the thief were not telling the truth.

Brandon nods sheepishly, hoping his information-keeping hadn't been that obvious. He glances to Phantom and figures that, if Diana hadn't just had a gut feeling that Brandon wasn't fully trusting, Phantom had given a hint.

Olvan and Rue thank Seth for his information. Then they go back to the Keepers.

Ashia looks at Olvan coldly, "Come out and ask it already. Neither of us trust each other but that's a give in."
Justin glances at Ashia slightly surprised at her boldness towards the leader of the Greencloaks. Then again as the leader of the Keepers Ashia knew how to hold her ground.
"Ask your record keeper if you don't believe me," Ashia responds.



"Yes Phantom told me," Diana answers, "plus it's a little bit easier to tell then you think."
