Velvet crept out of the bushes, her hair shimmering under the sun, and walked up to the man. "Hello. My name is Velvet. What's your name?" Velvet asked politely, tilting her head. "That was pretty cool by the way. Are you a Dioteain?"

"Name's Avery." He introduced. "And thanks." He added, referring to the comment she had made. "And yes, I'm a Dioteain." He answered. He pushed his glasses back up. "What are you doing in the forest?" He asked. Well, he was in the forest because he was heading for base. Was this girl heading there too?

"Your welcome," Velvet said, smiling just a bit, "I actually don't know what I'm doing in the forest. I guess I would be going to the Uisce base camp? Since I'm a Uisce. Here, I'll show you." Velvet almost shape shifted into her Bengal Tiger form, but hesitated. "You are a shape shifter right?" Velvet shook her bright blonde hair out of her face and sighed. "I really have to get some new clothes. I really don't want yo wear this dress anymore." she mumbled.

"Oh, okay." Avery said, and watched as Velvet half shifted. "And yeah, I'm a shifter. Say, was that a tiger got I see you barely transformed into?" He asked, smiling. "I myself transform into a tiger..." He explained. A tiger with fur on fire, that is. Blue fire to be exact. He kind of liked it. He looked cool. Blue, glowing eyes and flames on his fur...

Beaming at that comment, Velvet said, "Well, why don't I shift completely and you can see?" Shifting fully this time, she roared and reared on her hind legs. Hopping over to Avery, she stared up at him with her startling Celeste blue eyes and shape shifted back into her human form. "You're turn. I can also control water if you'd like to see. But first I want to see your shape shifting animal and you're power which I think I already saw."

Avery nodded. "Alright." He announced. Sighing he closed his eyes for a brief moment and in a quick flash, he was a tiger of cold fire. He looked at Velvet teasingly with glowing eyes. He was quite large in his shift form. He waved his tail around and closed his eyes again. Then he turned back into his human form. "Neat, right?" He smiled. Velvet was the only person that didn't think blue colored fire was dorky.

Velvet stood, gaping at him, eyes wide open. After a moment, she said, "That... Was... Awesome!" Shape shifting back into her tiger form, she leaped over to where Avery stood and swiftly wrapped her tail around his legs. Yanking up with her tail, as very went flying and was soon hanging upside down, his glasses on the ground. Velvet made a low growl in her throat, which was, in tiger, a laugh. Her eyes twinkled in the moonlight, and she opened her maw wide open and yawned.

Avery laughed. He grabbed his glasses, that thankfully, hadn't broke. He put them back on and transformed back into his Shift form and let out a small growl and jumped around playfully, trying to catch Velvet's tail. He was acting like a kitten. Okay, okay. No more kittenness! He stopped and lay down, flicking his tail this way and that.

Velvet growled softly and jumped out of the way just as Avery's paws came cracking down where her tail was a second ago. Seeing Avery lay down, Velvet lay down next to him and lay her head on her paws, staring into the night sky before falling asleep, purring in her chest and swishing her tail back and forth until it was entwined in Avery's tail.

Avery hadn't noticed that Velvet and his tails were entwined. When he did, he let out a soft purr. He looked up to the slowly darkening sky. He had also noticed that there wasn't any fire on his fur. He listened to sounds of the forest. He had started to hear owls and crickets.
