She looks at you and smiles. "You do know I have paws, right?" Then she laughs. "Anyway, the name's Maven. The Lupora Pavora. I expect Zezo's already told you that, too." Then she looks at Zezo and he walks over to the corner, yawns, and lays down. "Between you and me," she says, "He's a real sleeper. I swear he spends a good 75% of his time sleeping. It's rare he comes up to see me. But I s'pose you're a bit of an exception."
Maven finally becomes aware of the fact that your pets are standing right next to you. "Oh, why hello there! A Lupora fan, you must be, eh?"

I put my hand down with a soft laugh. "Um yes, definitely. Love them." I look at my two lupora before turning back to her. "Zezo was quite right, you're very beautiful and kind!"

"Well, he's done the right thing, warning you about her. Good-for-nothing brat, she is. Not just that, but she is dangerous. She has one of the biggest areas of land in Pavoranda, and she makes her followers mine, destroy and dig it to find valuables. If any Sylesti that is not a Pavora goes into her territory, it's goodbye, sweet home, hello dungeon. That's if they're lucky."

Nad thinks, eyes tracking the Aurleons' movements while she does so. Eventually she murmurs, "Let's go for a mixture. We can take out these Aurleon first, and our movements then will likely alert them to our presence. However, if we're fast enough in taking them down, we can ambush them when they come to investigate." Nad was also rather busy shoving all her feelings into a little box in the corner of her mind. She could not afford any guilt to make her hesitate in taking down these enemies; she could thoroughly freak out later once the danger was over.
(Contradict me if you like, this is just what my mind came up with)

"It's risky... but okay," Xerth says. Then he addresses Danino. "Can you scout, see how far away they are?"
"Yeah, okay," he replies, and slithers off into the trees. He comes back after a few minutes and says, "They are around 5 minutes away, but the Aurleon are almost here."
"Good. Nad, let's go with your plan." Xerth says. As soon as the Aurleon are in sight, you shoot the first arrow, Xerth leaps up and attacks them and Danino flies up, whacking them with his tail and suffocating them with the magic coming off his wings. Izetta flaps up into the air. She has claws, so she attacks them with her claws. You are the only person left on the ground.
