Jason gave a simple, dragon, shrug. He shifted his wings a bit,his hips swayed a bit,and it seemed as if he had done a quick shift, not to his full size. "Mind if I join? It's been a few since I've torn something apart." He glanced with purple eyes around a bit for Ash,inside a bit worried about the other boy.

Ash stood, watching with hate on his face as he stared at Puck.
Grumly's fist hammered down, but Puck leaped aside just in time, and a redcap was smashed flatter than a pancake. "Whoops," Puck exclaimed, putting both hands to his mouth as he sidestepped Grumly's second swing. "How clumsy of me."
The redcaps snarled curses and lunged at him again.
They continue this deadly dance around the room, Puck leading the redcaps on with taunts, laughter, and cheers. Grumly roared and smashed his fists at the little men scurrying around his feet. This didn't stop them from launching an all-out attack on Puck, who danced, dodged and pirouettes his way around the ogre, almost seeming to enjoy himself. The catch was, one wrong move, one miscalculation, and Puck would be a bloody smear on the floor. "You comin', dragon? I could use your help with a few of these redcaps!"

Jason nodded, wincing at the hate he saw in Ash's glare, but decided to have a little fun himself. His hunches wiggled a bit for a second before he lunged into the mix,his strong limbs agile as he swung at a few redcaps as he slid by on the smooth scales of his talons, his claws scraping the ground as he went. He wacked a few with his tail, sending them flying as his snout gained a fanged grin.

The air around the boys chilled. They'd been so focused on having fun that Shard had been able to sneak towards them, only a few feet away now. Two long spears of ice formed overhead, angled at them.
There was a yowl, and an invisible weight must have thumped onto her back, for she staggered and nearly fell. Something flashed golden on her chest: a key attached to a thin silver chain. With a curse Shard flung the invisible assailant into the wall; there was a thud and a hiss of pain as Grimalkin materialized for a split second before winking out of sight again.
Maybe If they got the key they could befriend the ogre, get them it on their side, but in order to do that they would need the key...Now was the time to get it

Jason kicked a few more redcaps with a hiss, his purple gaze catching sight of the key. His left wing had angled above Puck when the spears had appeared, but he spread his other wing as he jumped into a careful glide around Shard, his fangs aiming a bit at her. He hoped he could use his sleeping venom/poison but wasn't sure if he could catch a good angle at her neck.

Shard glared at him, letting out a sound of frustration. Suddenly, Ash had her pinned to the wall, but it took both his hands to keep her pinned. "Hurry," he said quietly, softly, so that Puck couldn't hear. "I won't be able to hold her for long."

Jason caught his voice and nodded, sliding to a slick landing and using his tail to hook onto the key with his stinger as he jumped over them as to not hit Ash,but his tail stayed hooked and pulled at the key harshly, his whole weight behind it. And darn,in even this size of his form,he was heavy.

Shard was pulled forward, as was Ash. The force of the pull was enough to put them in Grumly's way. Grumly was distracted from Puck for a few seconds with the new prey in his reach. He pounded his fist down on them, but Ash had created a shield of thick ice that broke once Grumly pounded it, giving Ash enough time to escape

Jason felt bad for having carried Ash along two,but knew he couldn't let go of the key. He kept his tail hooked to the key but swung his body around and swiped a talon at Grumly's face, serrated claws cutting the air with a high pitched swish. His tail swung side to side to shake Shard as he did this, doing both at once with seemingly little effort.

Shard flew into a wall, and Grumly smashed her, and she was no more than a new blood stain on the floor.
