she drifts towards the blob "wonder what that is?" she ask

Haran looks up. "Hm?" Seeing the blob, he dashes forward and puts a hand on your shoulder. "Hey, maybe we shouldn't go to the darker-than-dark shadow that reminds me of someone beginning with the letter S."

Subuki closes their eyes. Are they meditating?

"but i want to see what it is." she says jerking away and stepping out of the safe zone.

Subuki's eyes snap open. Quickly standing, they dash to you as fast as possible. Not fast enough.

You hear a dark, heavy laughter, and the blob dissapates. Seconds later, a bloom of shadow spirals up in front of you, and spreads to the form of a young man:



"Oh, ho ho! Nice! I've gotten two new believers in one day!"

He gives you a wicked smile and leans in, his eyes turning black and running red.

"This'll be fun."

she pulls out a camera and snaps a photo "aw man the brightness was up to far" she cranks it down "ok there we go" she does it again.

When you look at the photo, there's nothing but a weird flare where he is. Huh.

He thrusts a box of business cards at you. "Look, I've already done this to a guy from Aru today. So I'll give you the same deal about these being free and not requiring your soul." Looking up, he sees Subuki behind you, and frowns. "Oh, it's you. Why are you a deer."

Subuki doesn't answer, but their crystals glow fiercely. Looking at you with a silent warning, they'd like you to come back to safety.

"give me a minute" she says pulling out a pencil and a sketchbook quickly scribbling down a picture of him "there we go!"

When you look back up, he's not there. Now, he's behind you, admiring the sketch. "Nice. You're the only mortal that's ever thought of that. Well done."

Subuki growls at him, as much as a deer can growl. Sibnele waves them off. "Go eat a twig or something, you pathetic Ironian. I like this mortal."

Haran just silently moves to stand behind Subuki.

"why thank you most people find me quiet annoying." she was wondering how she could work him to get her to the devils.

I smiled "You. Are. A. Freakin. Genious" I squeaked happily and side hugged her "I am so glad we are friends! Like man you could like be my older sister" I said happily and hopped out of the tree.
