Miko stumbled slightly, thinking he had hit a tripwire he looked down to find the floor glowing black.
"Woah," and then he remembered what it meant, it was a magic circle, and since it was glowing black it meant dark magic.
Miko closed his eyes and felt for water, surprised to feel a lot more then there should be, it was about to come on them. Focusing he made a sort of force field around Skaaul and Kidlat so the water would not touch them.
"Get ready," he whispered before water flooded from the cave roof and fell on him, but he concentrated, keeping the water shield up for his friends.

He brought his tail near to his body in a deffencive pose, all he could do was to keep his temperature in check so the heat irradiating from him woudn't melt Kildat's skin or disturb the shield.
