I have given this some thought, and I am thinking of having where maybe not the daily winner gets a prize but the one at the end of the week. And making those prizes a little more than what they were.

Then that would be giving a free hint.... ^_^. And the number of books actually has nothing to do with the answer. So don't look at the question in a literal sense of numbers.
As for your answer...Though Stephen King does have quite a few novels turned movie(Nearly 75 I do believe)...None of them are actually a part of a set series. They are all original works. I am actually looking for an author that has their entire book series based in the same place so to speak turned movie. What is the name of the Series, and what is the author's name?

I'm thinking maybe James Bond which is based off the James Bond book series written by Ian Fleming which has 26 movies made.

Ian Fleming did write 12 books and 2 short stories that is true. However not all the James Bond books were written by him. A good number were written after his death in 1964, even though the character he created was featured in all of the novels written. None of his novels were made into film during his lifetime. It was only after his death that they started being adapted to film. Though this was not the answer I was looking for, I am going to give it to you as I did not clearly state proper guidelines so to speak outside of the word "Series". So well done! You have won!

And if you are curious, I was thinking the wizarding world of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. She has several books from that series that have been turned into a total of 8 films...11 if you count the Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find them set that are still being produced.
