"Chaos follows me everywhere, that's why I live alone. Whenever something chaotic happens, I hear this weird noise, it's hard to explain. I have learned that I should run whenever I hear that noise." She said.

"Wow. But you shouldn't live alone. When did this chaos start?" Peppermint started running.

"Since the minute I was born. It's the reason behind my cutie mark." Ember said.

"Oh. Wow. I don't have a cutie mark. Well, I mean I did, I just don't. Not anymore, anyway." Peppermint decided to change the subject. "So what is causing all this chaos? What is the chaos? Have you ever found out?"

"I.. I dont know.." she said quietly.

Peppermint was silent for a moment. "I don't have a place to live. I always try to travel. It's because I-I'm dangerous. My magic is practically uncontrollable. I have tried and tried over and over again to try and control it. If my destructiveness means it will destroy whatever is behind this chaos, no matter the costs, I will do it." Peppermint suddenly stopped running. She turned around and charged. She started using her horn to destroy everything around her. She circled everything but Ember in a light blue fire. The fire made eyerything inside it burn up into ashes. Once the fire died down, Peppermint was nowhere to be found.

"Peppermint? Where are you?" Ember called. She began to panic. "Oh no.."'she said quietly.

Suddenly, a black ring of fire circled Ember. There were screams coming from afar, "No! Don't do this to Ember! You promised! EMBER!!!! Help..." the voice trailed off. A voice nearer said, "I have taken your friend, but next time, you won't be so lucky." Then, the black fire disappeared. There was Peppermint, still and not breathing. Next to her was a little fairy that turned to Ember and said, "She will be ok in a few days. You don't have the time, though. You need to get out of here as soon as possible." Then, the fairy disappeared.

"The chaos just keeps getting worse!" Ember cried. Her breathing got quicker. "L.. let's go." She said.

Peppermint didn't reply. She was still. A bright blue fire appeared and took Peppermint. The fire took Peppermint to a safe place to rest. When Peppermint woke, she knew exactly what happened. It was like she was awake the whole time. She didn't know where she was, though. She tried to teleport to Ember, but her horn was singed at the top. "Arg! Let me teleport!" She tried it again, and it still didn't work. She was more tattered and scared than before, but she didn't care. She stared at herself in the mirror. She stared as hard and as long as she could. When she had to blink, she was with Ember. She muttered to herself, "Well that was weird..."
