Jace Mason



I couldn't stop, no matter how hard i tired, my tears ran freely as i accepted her hug, holding her close. "I've been in pain for so long...masking it in a mask of a smile." I'd say, my face saddening. "I'm sorry, if i didn't love you...this wouldn't of happen." I'd sigh heavily, still in the hug. "I'm...sorry..."

Dee laughed and punched his shoulder lightly "or meter maid! I'd have no idea when there car is expired!" I say laughing as I point to the next line "what's that mean?"

Ashton smiled. "Guess I'll leave you two with your application papers. I've got work to do."

Rafe listened to his story, feeling sad for having judged him portly when they first met. He hopped towards the two and rubbed them with his face. "It's alright, you have us now! We can be your family!" He said trying to help though he was not sure how the whole family thing worked after all he was a rabbit.

I close my eyes and rub Jace's upper back slowly, letting him get it all out.
"No, don't apologize. You have every right to be sad, and I am glad I can be an anchor for the pain." I whisper, "Rafe is right, we are your family now." I give him an assuring kiss on the cheek before letting go and taking a step back. "As for me, give me time. I want to spend some time with you and grow close before I say anything. Even if I said I love you I wouldn't know how to return the feeling..." I sigh, a bit ashamed. I wished I could be head over heels in love with Jace, but it just wasn't gonna work like that for me. I have to know someone before I can grant that amount of trust.

"And I'm just a rabbit!" Rafe smiled sitting up on his back legs. "I can be your pet or something, maybe I can be your butler!"

(xD I want a rabbit butler! IRL that would be amazing)

I'd sigh a bit, feeling a little better. "I understand, that is what i figured." I'd say, my voice lightening up. "I'll give you some time, but you can come and go as you like, i won't stop you." I'd say with a smile. I honestly thought that someone i never met would have to take more time, I just hope i don't have to show my other side before then...

I return the smile, nodding shyly.
"Now Jace, I am going out for a little while. You can come if you want." I say, leaving the house without a sound. I climb down to the beach and walk up to where the waves wash over the sand, letting the water roll on my toes. I keep my eyes wide open, looking for seashells. I love seashells, they are so pretty and unique, seeming to hold the deeper mysteries of the abyss that is the sea.

I'd sigh, my wolf ears twitching a little. "I'll give you some space, we have been together for a while." I'd chuckle seeing her leave. "Just be careful, i don't want you to get hurt."
