Ember pulled into a headlock from the front. "Hey!" she said, before shoving A'ine away slightly, laughing. She couldn't remember the last time she had laughed so easily. She grew a bit more serious, "I've had some friends, but we were never really close," she said. "I guess your the first person I'd consider a real friend," she said, smiling.

"Geez, I can't talk can I? A'ine's a whole lot better at comforting people than I am," Orion said, sighing. "I'm trying to say that you don't have to worry about me teasing you or anything," he said, getting rather flustered.

A'ine laughed and poked Ember again. "Stop squirming! I can't braid hair when you're moving!" A'ine smiled again and let her mind drift over to Ember's 'Same here.'

Jora stood up again. She dug her nails into her arms. She wasn't feeling very good. She didn't know why. Her mind felt like it was exploding.

A'in froze she hadn't ever felt something like this before. "Ember?" She tried figuring out what the thoughts were. She dropped the brush. They where hers. "Oh no! Jora!" She said quickly trying to find Orion's mind somewhere near Jora's but he was too far away. 'Shoot! Jora? Can you hear me?' She sent really worried. She blunted the mental blows from Jora. A'ine couldn't figure out what was wrong.



(Thought I'd start making A'ine less perfect ^^)

"Jora?" Ember asked, bolting up, the smile dissapearing from her face. "A'ine, are you alright?" she asked, looking worridly at the expression on A'ine's face.

Orion looked at Jora. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, looking at her worriedly. He stood up quickly. He wished he could make her feel at ease, but he didn't seem to be helping her at all.

A'ine looked at Ember. "It's all my fault..." She said before turning back to trying to find Jora in the mess of their thoughts. "Ember, I need to tell Orion what to do but I can't reach him from here." She said calmly as she felt Jora starting to freak out again. She ran over to the window and opened it. She pulled herself up to stand on the frame. She looked up and thought she saw Jora's hair. "Ember give me a boost!"

Jora feel onto her knees swaying a little. Her hands started glowing lightly under her sleeves.

"Be careful!" Ember said, running to the window. She stood on the frame next to A'ine, and tried to lift her high enough to get onto the roof. She began to sway, and she knew she would fall soon. "A'ine! Jump!" she yelled, trying to lift her higher. You're going to have to transform when you fall.

Orion took a step toward Jora. "Jora! Please, listen to me!" I can't do anything to help her! I'm not helping her at all! What use am I to her if I can't even comfort her when she's upset?!

A'ine grabbed the next window sill and pulled onto her arms. 'Ember!' She sent hoping that she'd be okay but right now she had to fix what she messed up. She tried reaching Orion again. She got a small foot hold in his mind. 'Orion! You have to get Jora off the roof now!' She sent him still trying to find Jora in the mess of thoughts and emotions.

Jora moved her hands out of her sleeves and curled up in a ball. Her hands were glowing brightly and were starting to let off some smoke.

A'ine could feel some of the heat from Jora's mind. 'And be careful not to touch her skin if you don't want third degree burns. Even as a dragon.'

Ember fell backward, and panicked. Of she couldn't transform in the girls, how could she transform while falling. She closed her eyes, and tried to feel the other shadow people's emotions. Someone was brave. She grasped onto that feeling and taped to transform. Shadows swirled around her as she plummeted. But she managed to transform. She flapped her wings. A smile curling up her face as she flew to the top, landing on the roof.

Orion transformed, and grabbed the back of Jora's shirt with his claws. He took off the roof and flew down, carefully so he wouldn't stop Jora.

A'ine was a little busy with trying not to fall then Jora that she had forgotten about Ember until she flew up past her to the roof. She felt bad but couldn't think about it. 'Uh, Ember? Can I catch a ride down? Seeing as I'm the only one of us on the roof that can't fly?' She sent hoping that Orion and Jora were okay. She lost Orion when he flew Jora down.

Jora's face started glowing a little. Her mouth opened and she tried to scream but nothing came out. It hurt so much all the voices mixed even the ones she'd never heard before.

yeah, sure, hop on. Ember kneeled, so A'ine could get on her.

Orion wanted to help Jora badly, but all he had done was make or worse, and he couldn't do anything from the air. He finally reached the grind where he gently placed Jora on the ground.

A'ine climbed on. "Hurry! I have to help her!" She said aloud to scared of what she might do to Ember. She had to try and help Jora though.

Jora curled into a tight ball as her hair seemed to glow. She started crying but the tears evaporated as soon as they touched her skin leaving burning salt. It hurt even more. The places where her dress touched her legs started to smoke a bit.
