She only responded with a displeased swish of her tail before slapping the rains and putting a great distance between the two of you , your stallion unable to catch up

He muttered something rude about hr under his breath and took a look around, "We could always leave her, huh?"

A voice echoed in your mind " Oh now that would be convenient... It would make it much easier for me, too bad the towns folk already know she is coming and are waiting for her..." he said before fading into nothing

he kicked the stallion on, "Minka, get your brain back here. Until i get my wretched hands on him, he's after you. So much for trust" he called after her, annoyed he was even helping her.

She was unable to hear him as she entered the gates

he randomly tried to connect with the lightning stone. How could they have got there that fast? he skidded the stallion to a halt outside. What if he was about to walk into the same trap? There had to be a reason the voice had told him, to get him to try.. he gritted his teeth at the dilema

He smirked " Aye, seems she'll be need'n my assistance after all" he said as the weasel took to the roof tops and bolted the direction Minka had gone. The towns folk had all gathered in a large mass and there was shouting and many were armed.
