"Yeah I just want some alone time."

Sonic studied Ajal for a moment. "Is this about what Knuckles just said?" He asked.

"Why does it matter to you Blue," Ajal asks.

"I asked first." Sonic spoke with a brief smirk, though it quickly faded. "Why shouldn't it matter?"

"I just need some time to myself Sonic," Ajal's tone answered Sonic's original question with a yes.

Sonic huffed. "Oh, don't mind him. He's just being Knux. He's not mad at you, he just isn't..." He looked for the right word. "...he's not the most socially aware person on the Mobius. Trust me. I saved his life at least three times and he still talks at me."
Sonic waited for a response, but continued when he didn't get one.
"That probably wasn't even directed at you." He added.

"It was aimed at you the reason I want to be left alone is I think I figured something out but I need to be able to think about it in peace and quiet," Ajal responds trying to drop the subject.

Sonic sat down beside him. "I'll be quiet. Whenever you wanna talk." He replied, giving him the time for thought he wanted but also not taking no for an answer.

Ajal huffs, "When Knuckles said what he did he gave me an idea. The thieves may have been mediphorically burning the midnight oil as well. They're oviously pros so it's going to be hard to catch them but we have a chance to catch a slip up when the thieves are tired and haven't change out just yet. That's when they're most vunerable."

Sonic's ears were perked up in interest. "Late night hours... or early mornings." He suggested, nodding slowly.
