"I want the records you have of my father. All of the records. After all you were the last one to see him," Ashia responds, "If you haven't pieced it together already, he founded the Keepers." Ashia pauses before speaking, "Aside from that I believe that past wrongs need to be righted. When the war is over, I think the Greencloaks and Keepers should go to Steriol to help repair the damage as a gesture of goodwill."
Diana nods in agreement.

"Are you insane," Maya growls, "Go to the forgotten continent? Who knows what dangers lie there? And I'm sorry even if the Devourer is a puppet, it's not like we can go there. The people probably dislike us."
"Dislike is putting it mildly," Diana agrees, "but you have the Nectar to cure the bonding sickness. If you don't want to go give us the Nectar. Stay the villains in their eyes. The Keepers, Ashia is trying to repair relations to avoid another Great War. But go ahead and be unwilling. See how far broken trust and fear will get you."
Maya hesitates and seriously considers letting Strider out of passive state but stops seeing that Ashia has a hand on her bow. Maya had no doubts that Ashia wouldn't miss that this range and that she was the most dangerous Keeper there.

Rue stays relatively calm and on neutral terms with everything going on, what everyone is saying, and the stances they are taking. When he spots Ashia's hand on her bow, his own drops to where he keeps his venemous darts and he takes a step back. Once he noticed himself grabbing for his weapons, he stops himself and returns to his previous position.

Olvan listens to both sides of the argument, taking in consideration what may happen depending on the decision he made. Since Diana came from Stetriol, he wants to ask her if she knows the continent well enough to know the dangers that lie there. Maya's arguments against going had involved unknown dangers so if they had someone from Stetriol or who knew Stetriol well enough, they could be informed of danger.
The hatred towards them was one thing he could not fix with the snap of his fingers or reassure that they'll be safe from it. Ashia's idea of helping rebuild sounded like a reasonable plan to try and mend relations. One thing Olvan feared, though, would be the general welcome. He was positive that they're welcome would not be friendly, but that couldn't be helped. Whether or not their help would be accepted was something he did not know and had to be willing to risk if he wanted to follow Ashia's plan.

Noticing Rue reaching for a weapon Ashia takes her hand away from her bow. She didn't want to provoke the Greencloaks but she was not going to tolerate Maya attacking them. She understood Olvan's hesitation all too well, "You don't have to decide today. We're staying in this area until we get another lead. If you haven't decided by then but come to the choice while we are away, you can leave a message with Jackson."

"You don't have to face the people directly. It's not like you have to land on the beach with your cloaks on," Diana suggests, "you could arrive by night in the area the Keepers landed. By no means is it safe but it is an option."

Justin calmly tries to keep the peace; he sensed the tension in the air especially between Maya and Ashia. Clearing his throat Justin suggests, "Why don't we take a break? After all it's kind of stuffy in here."
Maya nods once in agreement but doesn't make a move to leave the room. She didn't trust the Keepers not to try something.

"Thank you. I will keep what you have said in mind and leave a message by Jackson if we make the final decision while you are away." Olvan says with a polite nod to the Keepers. He stands and is the first of the Greencloaks to leave the room.

Rue gently brushes a hand against Maya's shoulder when he notices her not moving out of the room. He keeps an eye on the Keepers when Olvan leaves. Rue hesitates once more, not sure he wants to leave the room and Maya possibly attack or be attacked by the Keepers. Then he simply nods once and backs out of the room, though he looks ready to come to Maya's aid if she needs it.

Maya quickly leaves the room following Olvan, "Is it just me or does something seem off? I mean the deal sounds too good to be true and then she asks us to go to Steriol. She must be crazy."

Ashia ignores what Maya says as she lets Scarlet out of passive state in the room.

Justin gently nudges Diana who walks towards the door. Both were worried about Ashia but tried not to show it. Diana goes over to Brandon, "Do you want to work on your bond?"

Justin walks outside the inn and looks around. He sensed something and it wasn't something good. Debating on letting Orin out of passive state Justin gets a glimpse of what he sensed, a bloodhound. Going over to Olvan he asks politely, "I hope you didn't mean to bring along a tail. Especially one with a bloodhound."

"It is a bit more to ask than she first let on." Olvan agrees. "She has given us time to decide. If that is all the catches in her treaty, it might be worth thinking over." Olvan says. He nods towards Rue and asks him what he thinks.
Rue shrugs and says that he isn't opposed to going to Stetriol himself to help others since that is what he joined the Greencloaks to do, to help people. He also notes that he understands Maya's concerns and could see where she is coming from. He watches the other Keepers cautiously.
Olvan listens to Justin and frowns when he hears about the bloodhound. "No. I told Seth that he couldn't come just like the note said."

Brandon is where Diana left him. He's gotten hold of a pen and is drawing little doodles all over his arm. He looks up guiltily when Diana walks over to him and he covers up the drawings. "Sure, that sounds good."

Sparky patiently waits for Justin to be open so he could ask him to tell more stories.

Jackson is preparing a meal for everyone.

Jay is heading up the stairs to ask Hazel if she wants to go gather some berries with him, Stellar, and Barnabus.

"Well, he's here," Justin replies gesturing in the general area he had seen Seth's bloodhound, "Please don't let him come to the inn. Last time he was here there was a lot of trouble. That bloodhound spirit animal of his is vicious." Justin tries to keep a calm and polite tone, but he was furious that Seth was there. He couldn't help but remember the first time the Keepers and Seth had met. At the time it was just Justin and Ashia and they had gotten a tip from a reliable source that a village hadn't received nectar and there were a few who might summon spirit animals. That was the first time Ashia had to break into GreenHaven. The break in went smoothly until Buddy picked up Scarlet's scent. From there it all went downhill. The only good thing that came out of the whole ordeal was that a girl summoned a moon bear. And that girl became the Keeper's seer.


Diana leads Brandon outside before picking up on Justin's reaction, "Back inside. It's not safe out there. If you don't mind, we'll try this inside."

Ashia walks over to the window and sees Seth. Anger surges through her as she sneaks down the steps. She remembered writing on the note clearly that Seth wasn't welcomed yet here he was. Moving past Jay with a dark look on her face she walks over to Olvan, "I hope you have a good explanation."

Olvan pursed his lips and nods as he listens to Justin. He was planning on going out and talking to Seth, to tell him not to come any closer and to keep Buddy away from the Keepers when Ashia approaches him.
Rue, who was about to take a walk and get a better lay of the land, mutters as he passes by on his way out, "Good is a matter of opinion."
Olvan shoots Rue a look when the younger Greencloak slips past, "The explanation I have is that I had told him not to come but I failed to take measures to keep him away. I can assure you that I will do my best to not let him come any closer... Rue, if you're going that way, would you mind checking Seth for me?"
"Yeah." Rue hesitantly nods, not looking forward to having to talk to someone else today. "Yeah, I can do that for you. I do think it's best if you come yourself, though, if you want my two bits. I have a feeling Seth won't trust or respect me as much as he would you."

Brandon scans outside, looking for what could have spooked Diana and Justin. He follows her back inside, though, even if he doesn't see the immediate or looming danger that Diana and Justin saw.

Ashia glares, "Very well. If he makes a move though I hold you responsible for what happens.
"Maybe he found something," Justin mutters, "After all we've been hearing stuff lately."
"Good point," Ashia responds, "watch the Greencloaks like a hawk until he leaves though."
Justin nods once, "Will do."
Maya speaks up for Rue, "Do you want me to go with you Rue?"


Seth is waiting rather patiently for Olvan to come to him. He had interesting information that he thought the leader of the Greencloaks should hear.


Diana notices, "Just trust me on this, you don't want to go out there right now."

Olvan accepts the responsibility of whatever happened. He decided to go out to meet Seth and see what convinced Seth to go against his clear instructions to stay away from the Inn and the Keepers until further notice.
Rue pauses when he hears Maya offer to come with him. "Do you want to come with me?" He didn't expect many people - if any - to willingly go anywhere with him. "I mean, if you're asking because you want to, by all means you can join me."

Brandon stuffs his hands in his pockets and nods once to let Diana know he understood. He keeps glancing outside in hopes of finding the thing that had caught the Keepers attention.


Hazel and Jay went out to go gather berries because Jay had finally convinced Hazel to set down her book and join him.
