He nodded, understanding that. "Okay, then." Soon, Val had found the end of Loki and Ghost's trails

(Had Ghost and Loki tried to jump over a stream or something?)

Desta dismounts and looks around.

Maverick does the same. "Huh..." He searches to find any kind of lead

Desta notices the stream, "I give you one guess where to look."

"The way the footprints were headed?" He asked, being a smart alec.

"Alright then smart alec you're going for a swim first," Desta gets behind Maverick and pushes him toward the river, "I bet they crossed it."

"Wait wait, what about Val?" He asked, trying to stall Desta. However, he realized it wouldn't work when Valerie was right behind Desta. "Hold on, you wouldn't really make me do that, would ya?"

"Do you me to show you how I learned to swim," Desta doesn't wait for an answers but kicks him in the butt and throws him into the river, "my brother threw me in."

When he surfaced, he muttered, "I know how to swim, I just don't like to!" He was treading water at this point, glaring at the girls. As soon as he got to the other bank, he shook his hair out, similar to how a dog would.
