He shifted onto his side, mumbling something about Sammy.

She blinked in the faint dawn light and stretched. It took her a moment to remember. The girl! Her... sister? She looked into the room and saw her, fast asleep on the bed. She then did something she hadnt done in years. She shifted into human form and got some fast food. She then checked to make sure nobody was watching, and climbed the wall up several stories until she reached the right balcony. She then knocked on the door.

I had finally fallen asleep my mind was filled with vivid colors that made me cover my eyes and it all changed into a scene when I was first shifting I was put on for a show I flinched back tears in my eyes I had this nightmare plenty of times before, the owner smacked me and fell forwards and shifted to catch myself.

hearing he knock I hope up and walked to the door rubbing the sleep from my eyes and I opened the door "yes?" I asked looking at the person on the other side of the door, when I noticed who it was I was wide awake in seconds "I thought you were eating a wounded Caribou?"

(Who?)

He wakes up slowly, opening his eyes and yawning.

(what do you mean?)

I still sleep when you wake the nightmare still invading my sleep and I let out a small whimper.

Um, how about your welcome. They don't serve free breakfast at this hotel, she said with an edge in her tone. But since you obviously didn't want me here I'll take my leave, she added. she shifted into a falcon and flew off to the forest with anger seeming to burst from her.

"I was just asking..." I said sadly looking at the falcon that was leaving.

She paused, wings flapping in place as she hovered, considering turning around and going back. She decided. Twisting around, she said, This isn't my place. I don't feel comfortable in this human world. You want me, you play by my rules. And watch yourself. You really need a filter for that insensitive mouth of yours. She turned again and flew down into the forest, hoping oddly that she would follow.
