Yassen: he stands. he walks over to Claradon. "the first thing we need to do is stop the bleeding."

Starfall: she slowly walks over to the group 'i am be able to help. do you know of any towns that may have a doctor?'

"There was an herbalist at the closest town, but no doctor. You would probably have to travel to the closest major city." said Winter.

Starfall:' and where is that? And will Claradon make it there?'

"I don't know. I don't know," said Winter, shaking her head.

Starfall: she places her head on winter's. 'it is ok, cold one. We will get Claradon somewhere and he will be fine.' She looks the girl in the eyes. 'Now think. There must be some where else we could take him.'

Theta: he stands "I could take Demon and we could go look for a doctor, if it would help any."

"There actually might be one place.... I'm not sure. I've heard rumors of a small village on the top of a mountain around here. The mountain is called Vesuvius. Not exactly a good omen. Anyway, they worship a fire god. They've never left the mountain so it's likely they have a doctor. It might just be a waste of time though....." she sighs.

(Vesuvius is the volcano that destroyed Pompeii.)

Starfall: 'it is worth a try. They may not like the fact that are of the ice element, but this is for Claradon. Theta would you mind going and looking for this town?'

Theta: he hopes on Demon. 'Not a problem." And they take off.

"Claradon doesn't have enough time for us to wait until Theta gets back." says Winter, looking in the direction they left.

Yassen:" but if we all go in search of the town then he will die any way."

Claradon: he groans.

Starfall; 'he says that you need to hurry, he just started to feel light headed.'


Demon: he runs faster then he has ever ran. he follows the mountain path, flames lighting up the ground.

(nightmares run faster than normal horses.)

"I guess..." Winter suddenly feels dizzy. She falls to the ground. She finds herself in a town on a mountain. Somehow she knew it was Vesuvius. The people there were all gone. The town was deathly silent. She walks up the main road. As she gets closer to the center of town, she hears chanting in another language. When she turns the corner she sees tons of people walking around a huge hole in the mountain. The hole was bigger than the village. Inside it, she could see flames licking the sides of the black pit. As she watches, a dragon, bright red, rises from the pit. He is huge, bigger than Starfall. The people stop chanting and bow to him. He flaps his wings once and all the torches go out. The sun itself is extinguished. Everything is pitch black. Suddenly a ball of fire rises from the pit. It becomes bigger and bigger. As it grows, it rises. Winter rrealizes that she is seeing night turn to day. The ball of fire is the sun. The dragon is the sun dragon! She gasps and the image disappears. In its place is darkness.
