"Well, it's good to have ambition," Terror purred to her.

He stared wide-eyed from behind a bush. He'd never been this close to a rouge alone. He had heard stories of a battle between clan cats and rouges but had been born after it occurred.

He tried to back up slowly but stepped on a twig. It made a loud crack that reverberate through the quiet clearing. It also scared off the mouse the rouge was hunting.

He saw the rouge perk their ears and look around. Not wanting to be trapped by a cat that could, no doubt, fight better than him, he turned around and bolted. As he did, he dropped the little herbs he had collected.

Ravenfur purred in response, a gentle tail swishing as she hummed gently. "Most cats would think its foolish for me to strive for that, but my mother once told me I could be anything if I worked hard enough" She purred out gently ear flicking as she looked up at the sky.

In the same moment Smokestream fled, so did Fox, thinking it was a patrol of Warriors coming to run him off anyway.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with wanting to lead as long as you're cut out for it," Terror said.

Ravenfur nodded gently, taking in the advice and agreeing "Yeah that is fair, you gotta have the backbone, can't just say yes to every cat, can't just be a pleaser of every cat wants" She purred gently.

"Well, if you try to make everyone happy, nobody will be happy in the end, especially you," Terror purred, "Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself, but be respectful. I don't know how discipline is handled here, but a couple of my scars are from insolent comments I made when I was still a kit."

Ravenfur nodded gently in understanding her ears flicking, "I was pushed out of Windclan because nobody actually liked me unfortunately" She hummed gently tail swishing slightly.

"That;s horrible," Terror mewed, looking over at Ravenfur.

Ravenfur shrugged, a soft purr leaving her "nothing can be done now" She hummed gently.
