She squeazed him tighter and sobbed for everything she ever did to people. She was a murderer. She killed and hunted people down for a living, even her dad... She slit her dads throat because it was what was asked of her. She had to delete my family ties. He was all that was left. Sniffling she reached one of her hands sand intertwined it with his. "My job is all I have left." She said softly. She lost him because she was sure he would never look at her the same.

Kuro shushed her again. " It's okay...this job is practically everything left to anyone in it... " He said to her. " I'm just glad it can't take a friend who's already in it... " He also said, meaning her.

Mel nodded and wiped the tears from her eyes and face. "That didn't stop them from taking our families." She said and almost screamed. She could feel the anger welling up inside her and she knew it was going to explode any second. Maybe she should turn against the organization and kill everyone in it. Except Kuro of course.

Kuro nodded sadly. " Yeah...but the system as it's ways... " he sighed. " Sometimes I could kick the king in the nuts! " he said, anger in his tone.

"But you have to help!" Velvet whimpered, hurt in her eyes. "She's my only friend. I won't let her die!" Striding over to the blood on the wall, she wrinkled her nose and translated. "I am in a dark place." Realization dawning on Velvet, she whispered, "Oh Amber! I should have stayed awake! Now that man took you and who knows what he's going to do to you!" Flopping down on Amber's bed, she buried her face in the pillow and started to cry again.

Arvian had expected that. He did nothing. No one could hear Amber. He still wore his cloak. He thought Amber looked funny with her hair like that on her face if it weren't for the muffled screams. Hopefully she'd shut up soon. "You're not escaping till I get to kill Eric." He said simply.

Amber's head hurt but she didn't want to give the man reason to make her do it again. "Mmmmhhhhhmmh!!" Amber shouted, trying to say, 'Get this gag off of me!' An ingenious plan popped into her head at that moment, and she smiled behind her curtain of hair. Twisting and turning, she tried to make herself look uncomfortable, which she was, so she could think better.

Arvian raised an eyebrow. What was Amber doing? Making herself more uncomfortable, it seemed. Well, she could make herself as uncomfortable as she wanted. He didn't care. He was pretty sure there was quite a commotion at the palace right now. He knew if they started to search for Amber, they'd probably give up soon. He knew the Overseer would stop the search. Because of the war.

When the man who called Amber his sister didn't remove the gag or anything, Amber got in a really uncomfortable position and threw herself into the air, kicking out. She landed a kick smack in the middle of his chest, another in his b*lls, and landed a few punches everywhere with her hands tied. She also managed to get a good bite in there somewhere, and when that fighting was over, she fell through the air and braced herself for a super hard, possibly bone breaking impact. She screamed when she landed on the rock hard bed and heard multiple loud cracking and ripping noises, and she lay, dazed and in horrible pain, her head on the pillow, grimacing under her curtain of hair, although still watching the man out of the corner of her eye, where he couldn't see any of her face behind her hair.

Arvian was surprised for a moment when Amber had hit him. He sat on the floor. God, his crotch... Ugh! He'd stay a little farther from Amber. He heard a few cracking sounds. What? Broken bones or what? He didn't care. Though if Amber was dying, then he'd care.
