Leon listens for a moment. "I thought I heard a voice. I don't hear it now though, must have been the wind." He says trying to comfort himself.

Carl nods. "I hope he does not get mad..."

Rick holds the baby out to Trish. "Madison go help dress your sister." He orders, not liking how Kristen was acting. "What's wrong?"

Shanks looks at the note. "No I didn't I saw her write it but never read it."

Kara doesn't move to look at him or anything. "Are you sure it was nothing?" She asked quietly her lungs screaming in protest from breathing.

Nathaniel shakes his head. "Don't ya worry 'bout that. He won't." He said looking around a little for Rick.

Madison nods following Trish as she walked away quickly. "Why is Mom acting funny?" She asked the woman as she carried the baby to the truck.

Trish shrugged, "I don't know... Maybe she's scared that this little baby's first mom came back like Rick did." She offered thinking how she might feel if that were to happen to her.

Kristine swallowed. "It ain't nothin'." She said looking away from him.

Jesse nodded. "Well... She left, maybe for good... And she gave me and Quinn the truck..." He said feeling a little weird about this whole thing.

Leon was still listening. He had not heard the voice again, the one that warned them to leave as fast as they could. "Yeah I'm sure it was just the wind."

Carl smiles, happy he had a big brother that was willing to help him out.

Rick took her hand is his. "Kristen, I know you have something else on your mind. Please, I don't like guessing."

Shanks looks at the boy a troubled look in his eye. "What did the note say?"

Kara licked her lips swallowing again. "Okay..." She said gun still in hand as she turned slowly and started pushing Leon's chair with one hand while looking back, watching the store. "Where do you want to go?" She asked not able to hide the pain in her voice that time as it trembled as she spoke.

Nathaniel patted Carl's back as he saw Rick talking to his mom. He could tell his mom was worried about something. "Maybe we should go build that house fer your critters' first." he suggested thinking that they shouldn't disturb them right then.

Kristine shook her head. "It ain't nothin'..." She said looking in his eyes. She blinked a few times trying to keep from crying as she turned away pulling her hand away from him. "It's just... That little baby couldn't be more then a few days. What if your wife's alive? What if she came back like ya did?" She said hugging herself she couldn't think of possibly losing him again.

Trish got to the truck seeing the young teen and one of the new girls. "Hey... Quinn isn't it? I need some clothes for this little girl, do you think I could barrow some?" She asked looking at how edgy the teen seemed wondering if the woman had anything to do with that.

Quinn nodded. "Sure." She said holding Cora up closer to her face smiling at her as she started laughing.

Jesse shrugged. "Nothing much. Said she needed some space to think and that she might be back but in either case her truck is for me and if I don't know how to drive it to ask Kara..." He said calmly still feeling like this was a bit off.

Leon looks back at her. "Are you ok? You look faint." He says concered about her.

Carl looks at his father wondering what he could possibly have to say to his new mom. Deep down inside he did not hate either of them no matter how much time they spent together. "Sure I would love that."

Rick puts a hand on her shoulder. "Do you really think a person would just leave a baby out there all alone for those those things to eat?" He asks not really knowing the answer himself.

Shanks looks down. "I saw her write it but I did not read it. I hope that were ever she is that she is ok."

Kara rolls her neck. "I'm fine. My bruise is just being a pain... So, what do you want to do?" She asked looking around for anyone who might attack.

Nathaniel smiles a little. "Okay, now were do ya want it?" He asked starting to walk to the pile of supplies they had gotten for the project.

Kristine shrugs. "I don't know..." She let out a breath. "Sorry for being so silly, must be the blood lost." She said rolling her shoulders. (Just read a little back and realized how corny and dramatic Kristine was >u< got to fix that)

Jesse shrugged. "I'm sure she knows what she's doing..." He said hoping it was true.

Trish smiled and reached in grabbing a small outfit for the baby. "Madison, could you hop up there and grab some wipes so I can clean her face?" She asked.

Madison nodded and jumped in and opened a few drawers before finding what she wanted and held them out to Trish. "How come you know what to do with a baby? You don't have one..." She asked as she watched Trish dress her. "I babysat a lot."

Quinn looked up and around trying to see Jesse. She saw him standing a bit off talking to Shanks still.

Leon looks back at her stoping the chair. "You sit, I'll walk." He says standing up slowly wincing.

Carl smiles. "I want it near my window so I can see them." He says grabbing what little he could due to his size

Rick puts a hand on her arm. "You don't have to apologize, you did nothing wrong."

Shanks nods. "I hope she is ok."

Kara glared at him. "No. You're hurt and I'm not going to let you." She said growling it out. "Sit back down."

Nathaniel nods. "Okay sounds good." He said grabbing the rest of the supplies. "Now, which one's your room?" He asked. A little dog ran up to him barking happily. He smiled down at Jules' new puppy and looked up to see her walking over. "Can I help?" She asked and Nathaniel looked at Carl.

Kristine lets out a breath and smiles a little at him. "I'm glad someone found your baby girl." She said quietly.

Jesse nods back. "I'm sure she is. I hope she comes back..." He said turning back toward the truck. "I'm going to go see about Quinn and Cora."
