Cole watched her run off. Did this really happen? All of the sudden, Amber came over. Her eyes were wide. She hissed, "What was that?! Did that seriously happen? Cole, you're kidding me. We need to talk." She dragged him by the ear to his truck and shoved him inside.

Kelsey quickly got in her car and sat down. She texted Sean, feeling her eyes water.

Sean- come on. We have to go

Amber started yelling at him about what he did. Cole just rolled his eyes and asked, "Why is it any of your buisiness anyway?"
Amber replied with, "Because I'm your cousin! I'm supposed to be in your buisiness!"
Cole got her out of the truck and drove off. Amber didn't bring her truck to school, so she didn't have a ride now.

Sean hurried outside to the car when he saw Kelsey's message. He spotted Amber and asked where she was going. "Where's your truck, Jewel?"

"It's at home. And that's where I'm going." She turned and started walking. Their house was a good 10 miles away.

"No!" He yelled, then lowered his voice. "Come with us, Kels and I can drop you off. Please?"

"Okay." Amber didn't like the thought of walking home. She climbed in the backseat, carefull not to mention Cole whatsoever.

"Kels- woah what happened?" He saw her watery eyes and looked around. "Who did this? I'm gonna kill them, tell me-"

"No." She said, wiping her eyes and turning away from Sean. "Don't bother. Just allergies, it's nothing."

He had known her long enough. They were cousins! But he did't dare point out that she was lying and he knew it.

Amber swallowed hard and text Cole, 'KELSEY'S CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU, YOU JERK!!!! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!!!'

Sean turned to see Amber's vigorous typing. "You okay?"
