Neva looks at Maggie knowing that look all to well, "No."
Maggie hugs both of them trying to comfort them, "It's bad but he's still fighting. He's not expected to make it through the night."


"I'll drop the tip you stay away," Nox grabs a piece of paper and starts writing on it, "I know how to do this."

Zero smirked. "Then by all means."

Joe's shoulders slackened. He didn't say anything, but
his expression was one of bewilderment, however.

"Anything else to add," Nox hands him the paper which contained Hagin's name, job, suspected target, and with what.

"You can say your good byes if you want," Maggie tries to keep a straight face.

"Most recent location," Zero added.

Joe sighed, taking off his hat. "...Neva, you can go ahead. I... need a minute."

"Good idea," Nox writes that down as well, "now to find a police station."


Neva gets up from the chair and goes to Kini's room.
Maggie goes back to her work trying to keep herself together.

Zero shrouded himself and Nox behind an illusion. "That's simple. Center of town."

Joe slid down in his seat, ears drooping. "...."

Nox nods once, "Thanks." She walks calmly towards the center of town.


Maggie brings him a blanket and a hot chochlet after a few minutes.

"I'll be close if you need me." Zero spoke.

Joe glanced up at Maggie, swiping a hand across his cheek. "What's...?"

"It's to try and keep from you going into shock. Neva's still in Kini's room and I don't expect her to leave his side any time soon. You can join her whenever you feel ready," Maggie hands him a tissue.


Nox looks at Zero and smiles, "Thank you but I don't plan on taking long."

Joe exhaled softly. "Th-thanks."
