Soon Jason stepped back and the markings flickered out and then lit a strange pink light before a swirling oval portal of a beautiful lavender flickered to life and swirled with strings of silver. It was big enough to fit them both side by side and just enough above Ash's head. He stepped to the side and swept a hand at it with a soft smile.

Ash kind of stared at it a moment before stepping towards it

"Don't walk to far through, there's a sheer drop of a cliff a good amount on the other side." He warned, hand briefly touching the coat Ash had put on him but he seemed to shiver once before letting himself know it was okay.

"Yeah, right behind you." He said, nodding as he followed. "I'm here if you feel odd about it.It's not like a trod, you go through and it sorta feels like a strange slimy water like thing but not gross, just a little odd."

Ash took a deep breath. "Okay." He stepped through, clenching his jaw, waiting for the described feeling

It did feel a little moist, cool and wet but a little clingy and tingly. It was calming though and soft, and all went black for a second before it all went light and it revealed a cliff about 8 feet away straight forward. The portal was on a ledge, thick and sturdy. The dirt was soft orange and on it where plants that where like thistles but pure black. Thick and swarming to the sides and avoiding the sheer drop. The sky was as well orange but a richer and more fire like color, the sun a soft white light that was lookable upon. The cliff led to a large empty area,a large rigged valley so to speak that on the other side had large death black tree's that looked dead but weren't,seeming to have an odd life about them. Strange lizard like creatures slithered from tree to tree, navy blue to black and hissing softly to one another like snakes about the world. Looking to the left you'd find desert like expanse and more strange black plants but crystals taller than most dragons and also as small as mini dragons jutting up out of the ground of beautiful light colors. To the right you'd find open sky and mountains far off a few miles away, dragons here and there flying around with scratches and cries to one another, ducking here and there. The mountain tops where covered in a soft teal shimmering snow, creamy dragons dunking in and out of the large snowy area's. A bit back to the left where fields of so many separated by crystal walls or forest like places of dark purple plants or swirling flowers of pink, flame kissed orange,or even a bright yellow and blue.Very little of the blue though. The air had a nice sweet tint to it,like faint natural sugar, soft and sweet.
Jason dropped out, stumbling a bit and gaining balance after a moment. "Welp...here we are.Hope it's not to bad in your opinion, there's a lot more we can't see from here.But...I mean,I could take you back later if you don't like it here."

Ash wasn't able to speak. He had walked to the edge of the cliff, trying to wrap his head around everything. The beauty of the land, of what he assumed to be either a sunrise or a sunset based on its colors. He was speechless as he watched the inhabitants interact with one another. For some reason, he felt a little like an outcast here. He couldn't put his finger on why, but he did. His hands were in his pockets again, making sure not to touch anything. He had never been here before, so he wasn't sure what could be fatal to him and what wasn't.

The portal was behind them, framed permanently by a metal like thing but it wasn't metal, just crystal carved in the middle of the flowing shape filled with silver multi-wing tears. It was a symbol of the defeat of the hybrids, something Jason didn't ever speak of. It wasn't sunrise or sunset, that was just the color of the sky. Jason walked up besides him. "Careful,I'm not sure if I'm strong enough right now to catch you if you fell." He said, gently taking him back a bit away from the edge by his shoulders. He seemed to feel a bit better being here, less sad and droopy. A little more free.

Ash continued to scan the landscape, always awed by what he saw. "I can't believe this is your home," he murmured
