Jason didn't hug back,heart so beaten up inside of him that he wasn't even sure what he was feeling anymore and his head was to hazy to even understand it anyway even if he could. "I'm fine." he said softly,wings angled to continue keeping the rain off of Ash. " It doesn't matter. Foreskel can fix it in the morning,I know a portal that can easily get me there.I...could take you with me...of course,that's not really an offer worth anything.Never was huh...?" His voice was soft and tired,weak and beaten up badly.Just as he and his feelings where.As his heart was.

"I'll go," he murmured, continuing to hold Jason. "When I left the Nevernever, I didn't have any plans other than being with you. If you want me around, just say the word. And if you don't," he said with a shrug. "I'll stay here."

"Heh...th-that sounds...new." He said,slight frustration in his voice. "I thought you could forget me...last I know you s-said...you'd kill me if you e-even saw me again." He said,starting to shake again. "I think I've heard enough death threats and attempts from my own brother to know th-they don't often get taken s-so lightly."

"I had to let go of you. I wasn't about to let myself hurt you any farther. Looks like leaving did the exact opposite of the desired outcome." He took a step back, putting his hands in his pockets again. "And I'm sorry for that."

Jason automatically reached for his hood but sighed and clenched his fists as he remembered he didn't have it anymore. "Your sorry....sure...okay,yeah.Thanks for that,I think I'll take that into account next time I have a chat with what's left of my heart." he muttered,then sighed and his hands relaxed and he,again,made sure to keep the rain off of Ash. "Come on,Lila usually is alone at home at this time so she can tailor an outfit for you. She doesn't have a lot of metal with her so it'll be safe,her house is mostly wood and all. She lives around my last placement,...." He froze a moment,remembering being back put him at risk of being caught and sent to Juvie. "Sh-she did say if I needed anything she's there...s-so she'll be fine with it." His voice became soft after his pause,very soft.

Ash stood there, shaking his head. "You doubt me even though I gave everything for you? My home, my kingdom, what was left of my family?" Now, it was Ash's turn to be hurt, but he didn't show it, his face was just a blank mask.

"You shouldn't have. I don't doubt you,it's just hard to help my heart understand that things are different now." He said,kicking at the ground a bit. "Besides,your not the only one that gave up something,I'm dying.I might not make it through the night,and I could have run back to my realm so many times. I could have let Puck take me to the summer court and stay out of this.But no,I wanted to help. I got rid of that bug,I continued on and even called some dragons....I'm in debt now to Flasher and the seventh squadron,not counting little Toxin who decided to pop in. Lemon,Snowball....I never had a real world to begin with,I never had anything to hold onto or be held by. All I had I gave best I could,so your not the only one who's given up things." He sighed and tilted his wings and let the gathering water on them douse his head and it seemed to force him to stay awake and pay mind to things again. "Come on,let's get to Lila's,you shouldn't stay out here and get a cold."

"It's not cold to me." He stayed where he was. "You should go back to your home if that's what it takes to heal you. Just know that I'll be here, waiting for your return." If he hadn't faded to nothing by then. "And I still regret nothing. Except hurting you. You have no idea how much I regret that; how much I wish I could take it back. And if you never come back," he paused, blowing out a breath. "I...I'm not sure what I'll do."

"I don't have a home." he said flatly. "I'm taking you to Lila,she'll get you some food and a few outfits within a snap. She's good at those things. And I'm not about to leave you alone,I was born alone and was for about a month until I was pulled to the human realm and dropped into foster care. I'm not about to leave you to the same life I lived." He then gently put a hand to Ash's shoulder and he looked to him with purple eyes. In those eyes was emotions churning,fear stress and even frustration but...love that had been beaten bad.It was weak but there,like a plant trying to make it past a snowy winter.Struggling.

"Well, if not a home, go to the healer. Trust me, I can wait. I have for long enough already, I can wait a little longer. And I don't eat mortal food. And after what I've done to you, I'm sure I deserve a life alone, don't you agree?"
