Hazel thanked Azruel for her help treating her wounds. It hurt, the stitches and the medication sting like hell but the bullet hurt the worst. There was a new bruise forming on her side and everything felt sore. She had almost passed out it was so painful. She couldn't imagine what her mom would say but surely every battle couldn't end up this badly, all she needed was a little more practice working with a team. She looked at syd and did her best to help Azruel stitch him up but she couldn't help but let her eyes linger on his scars, they were everywhere. It made her sad. He caught her looking but didn't say anything so she looked away. He looked bored as though this wasn't as bad as we had all made it out to be, as though he was used to it. Once they were done she helped him to the couch. She sighed "so what do we do now?"

Lilly looked at her. "Eat. Sleep. Beat the bad guys. Ya know, hero stuff."

She sighed sitting down beside Syd "we really need to work on being a team, a good one, other wise today will be a repeat." She felt an arm around her shoulders and she jumped "I can help you." Syd said with a smirk she felt her face heat up and she slid away from him. "Not like that you perv!" But she couldn't look at him, man was he a flirt. He laughed "OK but don't say a didn't offer. Anyone else want my special teamwork experience." He said looking around, a smirk still on his face. Well at least he's back to normal, she thought
