Before the person could respond, he was interrupted by the sound of a siren. It was deafening, cutting through Victoria's head and reverberating up the steep walls of the prison until the echoes died out near enough twenty seconds later. By that time, the boys had backed away, joining the rest of the inmates who were flooding towards the center of the giant courtyard. Victoria noticed a yellow ring painted onto the floor and wondered whether they should be heading toward it too.

But it was too late to move.

The siren rang out again, and a metal door the size of a bus to the left of the elevator began to hiss and rumble, mechanisms inside grinding and turning as they released a series of locks. With a blast of steam, the vault door swung open lazily on its enormous hinges, revealing a sight that Victoria knew she would take to her grave. She made a small sound and wanted to just disappear.

Riley backs up from the door, taking Rhea's hand in his own.

Aaron cursed quietly. She started to back up again before quickly walking away with the group. Her head jolted briefly to the side and she hissed at the pain but kept going. She hated this sound, this tradition.

She stays right next to him. She even stands in front, as if the tiny girl is going to protect him.

Nicote sighed, Cole grimaced, and Lio gulped...again.

Shade hissed and slid away from the opening door,eyes scared but angry still.

Trisha seemed bothered but her eyes spoke of a whole other story as they glittered a soft blue,fear.

Riley feels a surge of protectivness for the little girl. She sort of reminded him of a friend he had before, and his heart aches for a moment.

Trisha saw them collapse and she came over,seeming gentle despite her cold expression and tone as she spoke,gently kneeling down and holding them close. "Shhh,it's fine.It'll end." She sounded sarcastic and cold but as she gently rocked them it said otherwise.
