Jason shifted a bit. "I don't give my name to everyone. Only who I believe I can trust,and that's few." he said,feeling hate toward himself for having tried to give Ash his name.

Ash said impossibly quiet so Shard couldn't hear, "Lie. Say a name that isn't yours."

Shard's fingers drummed impatiently against the counter.

Jason heard him faintly,and felt upset for two reasons. 1,why did Ash care? 2,he didn't lie often.
But he did as he was told. He thought and remembered his cousins name,Jasper. "Jasper."

"Alright, we need to get going." Grim glared at her.
Shard glared right back. "This way," she announced, frostily, and led them across the room, towards the 'Staff Only door, shooting a suspicious look at Jason

Jason saw the looked and gave a jockey,flirty,wink,tho the flirtatiousness wasn't anything form of what he felt. He gave a half fanged grin with it.

They went down five or six flights of stairs, pausing at another door with the words, Danger! Keep out! painted on the surface in bright red. Shard looked back at them with an evil little smile. "Don't mind Grumly. He's our last deterrent against those who like their noses where they don't belong." She pushed the door open...

Jason felt his heart almost stop at her smile,freezing for a moment because...it reminded him of the evil grin that his brother Shade always had,the brother that they where fighting against. The brother that had lost his mind. Permanently.

Ash noticed and was tempted to comfort him, but restrained himself. First, it's the stench that hits them, a revolting mix of rot and sweat. Bones littered the floor, some human, others decidedly not. A dirty pile of straw lay in one corner, next to a door on the far wall. The trod. It was going to be a challenge to reach, though. Chained to a ring in the floor, managed by one, tree stump sized leg, was the biggest ogre any of them have ever seen. His skin was bruise purple and four yellow tusks curled from his lower jaw. His torso was massive, muscles and tendons following under his mottled hide, and his thick fingers ended in claws

Jason's face paled slightly but his freckle scales turned their pure white of fright,sick green pulsing a bit at the edges as if deciding if he was terrified or not.

Shard walked through and opened the door. "Wait," Ash said, looking around. She hasn't promised to keep them safe...Recaps came bounding down the stairs and Grumly lunged at them
