Guy has quite a history considering he was originally made as an over-the-top joke antagonist character (and demon) when I was like 14. His history back then was that he was a demon prince that could portal between universes.

He's been altered a lot, almost entirely rewritten, and made a much more serious character but it never truly stops with him.

Oh yeah he's the one I drew! Gosh I couldn't even imagine rewriting my old oc's, I wouldn't know how xD

My oldest has gotten to the point where I've unconsciously masked him (literally, he now has a mask that he wears and never takes off)

Well its kind of sloppy, but there it is. I figured if Umbris' way of marking his messengers was making them lichs, Verasil would burn his.

The sheet of paper Verasil summoned was Cypress' signup sheet xD

I hope he's not too much like Hades/Umbris. I wanted to make him a laid back-bonfire, but that bonfire could could explode in size and heat with the the proper fuel and more fire.

(btw i was gonna write Cypress/ coming back covered in soot, since thats basically what he turned into when he died, but I couldn't write anymore without it becoming too choppy and disjointed)

I actually kinda enjoy revamping old characters. Helps me out mentally as far as confidence with my writing and character designs.

X was such a painfully cringy (and I don't use this word often with RP) character it was absolutely fun for me to do

(conversations about him before his rewrite have.. come up before.. Hence why this joke of a redraw of his design from my very early notes of him and attempts at drawing anything even exists)


I guess it's made it easy for me the only thing that's changed about him over time for me is that his personality is toned down a few notches to not be quite so annoying.

Everything else just kinda got thrown out because he was never meant to be serious and kinda got written as a one off in some really bad fandom rp

Im probably never going to revamp my old oc's, atleast not the ones I've given masks (a total of two so far-- I swear I didn't mean to do it it just happened xD)

I just....continue making more xD Besides that they're pretty unique compared to my new oc's, as I thought differently back then. My first ever oc was female, now I purposely force myself to make female oc's just to balance out all my boyos.

I always just make more, lol.

I really only keep a fraction of characters total I make as OCs generally. After a while it just feels like I'm reusing personalities or concepts (which I'm fine with too, tbh. But they hardly last outside of singular groups/universes unless there was something I really liked about them)

I really need to force myself to make more female characters and not just cop out characters like Lux because I spent half a year rping him without disclosing or even knowing what gender he was supposed to be.
Now it's just a thing with him. XD

I have a hard time playing female characters that aren't more on the surly, butch end though. It's fine, but they usually don't end up very playable since they are all so unfriendly, lol.

Soterra'll be interesting since she's a female character I already had but never got a chance to work out her personality or rp at all yet.

Yeeeah, Lux was supposed to be a trans or agender. But considering his species is a bunch of shapeshifting flamboyant reptiles monks.. There were a few problems with that.

I was actually trying mainly to go the agender route with him until he got forcibly crackshipped into a gay relationship and I had to scramble to figure out what he was supposed to be. Honestly it's been great enough that I don't mind what he ended up coming out of it all as. Had a lot of freedom to do what I want for him and his species since he's like.. the only one of them I've written in that universe since they are so reclusive.

So now he's just a gay shaman who fights literal space gods turned diplomat. There's no words, honestly.
