Nyx had no trust in the female, curious to their blindfold. They were probably able to know where they were from sound, but she didn't care about that. She was only focused on if they would attack, and if so, she would be ready for the time being.

TJ stopped, nearly crashing into both Carter and Nyx. "Wha-" Then he noticed the combat blindfolded person. "Oh...Sorry." He whispered, pretty much hiding behind Nyx, trying to keep Blackie in his arms.

"Another? What are you guys doing down here? Come to visit," The girl said smiling as she drew a sword, a black sword, it seemed to such the light out of the air, making the dimly lit well seem ever darker "Shall we begin?"

Carter watched the girl and decided it was time to do something stupid. He broke out of Nyx's grip and tiptoed closer to the light, hoping the girl in the shadows wouldn't notice him.

"No. I'd very much rather not. We were just dropping by and seeing what we can see. I'd much rather this stay be very much not bloody." TJ says with a unsure smile.

Nyx watched as Carter broke free and lightly stepped, letting out a silent sigh of disappointment. She figured using any form of fire would create light, which would most likely be absorbed by the sword and increase its power. She glanced back to TJ before lightly following Carter, ready to protect both him and TJ if the female attacked.

The girl watched them silently, her head following them as they move "You guys know I can hear you, right?"
At that point Carter broke into a run, unaware that Nyx had been following him. He ran down, hearing footsteps behind him, hopefully Nyx and not that girl. He reached the light just as someone grabbed his shoulder, turning he saw not TJ or Nyx, but the girl, with a wild smile on her face. Carter screamed and grabbed the closest thing he could reach, the source of the glowing light, a green staff. The girl's smile turned into a scream as she backed away, cowering until she was about 4 meters away from the staff, then she stopped and stared at him, a scowl on her face as he heard her mutter "Stupid staff."

Sly became invisible out of fear of the scream. Nyx walked up behind the female, grabbing her by the arm. Nyx twisted the females arm before shoving her to the ground, doing her best to keep her still.

So, would you like to tell us about that staff?

It seemed that if the female didnt answer the question her arm wouldve been broken.

"Like I would tell you," The girl said and in her place appeared a tiny black dragon, who squirmed away from Nyx before becoming a girl again "Why don't you ask your friend," She pointed at Carter, glaring at him.

(Hm.. I'll catch up to what the heck happened in the last 2 pages without me later :3)

Isaac's feet smacked the grounds outside the base, Infernus holding Hayden, them both right behind him. Betrayal..betrayal...betrayal...betrayal.. That word that Hayden had whispered over and over clawed through Isaac, flipping over in his mind and making him cringe with guilt. Inferus angrily roared at Isaac, and the boy snapped Fine fine, go eat something! He took Hayden's unconscious form in his arms, and the wendigo beside him growled pleasantly and darted off into the shadows. Isaac staggered a bit carrying Hayden's dead weight but managed to pull him into the room where he knew Tiffany would be seated, setting the golden-haired male down and panting to catch his breath. The hairs on his arms and the back of his neck prickled and raised uncomfortably as he watched the still-stood grays beside him. They were his brethren, but he felt so set apart from them it was like looking into the faces of people you knew years ago. He murmured swift instructions for them to guard the doors before striding forward to meet Tiffany. For a brief second, his eyes met hers. In his gaze was a look of some bitter, unrecognizable emotion that didn't belong there. Then, Isaac remembered his manners and dropped to his knees as he's done a thousand times before. I.. He didn't say if he had succeeded or failed, because he didn't know himself anymore. You don't have to kill him.. do you? He asked hesitantly, before correcting himself. Mistress.. I mean.. He could be useful for information and such. Maybe you could keep him around. He realized now that Hayden would stir soon, and so he may not have much time to plea for Tiffany's mercy. That, after all, was exactly what he in those few words had been lowering himself to. A plea. Begging. I know it's wrong to ask, but I don't think I could let him die. Even if he hates me, I can't let him die he added in his own head.

Tiffany smiled slyly but stayed seated, watching Isaac with interest. Standing up she circled slowly around him, looking down at him with a gentle expression.
"You know why I picked you," She asked leaning down so she was at the same height as him "I knew, I knew you would show me what you could do. I will spare him, I have to. If he died he would just pass his powers to someone else and we wouldn't want that, would we?"
She stood back up and looked down at Isaac "As reward for your success, you will be my right hand, my shadow, as I like to call them. One of the other shadows will come and give you farther orders," She then stood up and walked out of the room, shouting orders to the guards as she left. Jack was still on the throne, watching Isaac with narrowed eyes as he lashed his tail, seeing the unwanted emotion that was in Isaac's eyes.

Hayden was starting to wake, blinking his eyes as he tried to got used to the dim place. He could feel the pain where the beast had crushed his chest, or at least that's what it felt like, but it was nothing compared to the pain he felt in his heart. He stood slowly, trying his best not to collapse from the pain he felt and his eyes slowly adjusted, showing the place he dreaded the most, his sister's house. He took a uneasy step backward, trying to escape the truth that loomed over his head, he was betrayed and he failed the others as a guide.
