As you walk towards the person you recognize them as F'lar. As you get closer you notice that his eyes are closed. He seems to be meditating or something like it. You eventually get right behind him, he doesn't seem to notice you. It might be a bad idea to startle him.

You Just stand there and wait for him to finish. After several minutes he opens his eyes and stands up. He pleasantly surprised by your presence. "Hello," He said sleepily rubing his eyes, "I didn't expect you to find me out here."

You could go back, but you don't really want to trek all the way back up the river. You lean over the edge of the cliff. It looks climbable, but the rocks are damp and slippery. What will you do? I'll check my egg to see if it's okay, then see if there's another way down.

"Really?" he said quizzically, "Most people in the village are afraid off this place." He then looked around the clearing. "I half grew up in this place" he said taking in his surroundings. "When I'm not in the village training with the guild. I'm out here." He looked at you strait in the eye "I always came here because it was quiet. Why did you come here?"

You check your egg its radiating heat. Its smooth and has a silvery color to it. You put the egg back and try to find another way down the cliff. After a few minutes you find a a steep slope you can climb down. The rocks also look dry from this angel.

I'll try to keep looking, but if I don't find another way, I'll try to climb down the dry slope as carefully as possible. I really wouldn't like to though, I'm afraid of heights lol.
