Nant placed the lunge line back on its peg. She began to walk over to the stables when she remembered- today was the day! She grabbed her coat and rushed off toward town, turning into her kelpie form as soon as she was out of sight.

As she approched the town she shifted back. She ran to the meeting place and almost crashed into an unfamiliar man. "Sorry!" she said quickly, skidding to a halt, "I was late for meeting someone." She smiled nervously, she was bad around others when she was human. She panted for a bit, still out of breath, avoiding the man's eyes.

(I'm assuming Nant crashed into Shane)

I take a quick step back as someone nearly crashes into me. "Hey, watch where you're--" I begin to say, but I recognize this human. "Oh, hey Nant. Nicole isn't here yet."

"Wha?" Nant's mouth hung open as she stared at Shane, "its.. you... I imagined you'd look different." Nant shut her mouth quickly realising it was open.

"I do look different. Did you think I'd just walk out into town without changing my appearance in some way?" I say sourly.

Nicole walked out from her chem exam already dressed in her running clothes ~ Really, that was stupid~ she thought just then she remembered~ crap! I have to meet everyone!~ she took of in a sprint Soon catching up with the others. ~ Hmm looks like my kind of crowd ~She thought as she placed her elaborate black and white metal toothpick in her mouth and jogged up

I spot Nicole running towards us. I jab Nant's shoulder with my index finger then point to Nicole. "Here she comes." I say. "Think she'll recognize me?"

"Doubt it," Nant predicted, "you hardly look canine." She waved at Nicole ao she'd recognise them.

"You walk to work?" Miles asked exiting the house.

Luna locked the the door then took his hand again as she began walking to work "Yeah I don't have a car." She said "besides its pretty close."

"Oh." Miles said allowing her to lead him. "So what do you do at the shelter?"
