(it's okay I ended up falling asleep anyways, long enough for my cat to panic at me not being awake and yell at me lul)

"Hey, Zeth. Got some bad news, but figured I'd at least let you eat first and the rest of us rest for today before we try to straighten it out."
He dropped his hand from his temple and walked over to her with a serious expression on his face.

Zeth

Se still struggled with taking him seriously, but 'bad news' was enough to keep her straight for now. "I had a good night's rest, and I'm pretty much done eating anyway, so lay it on me."
She had wolfed down the eggs, eager to satisfy her hunger. She had just finished licking her fork when he spoke.
"What kind of bad news?"


Traqil

He had gone to clean up a few of the dishes from cooking when he heard Scias. TikTac was vaguely intrigued, listening in on the conversation. He was pretty much done with business here for a while, so maybe he could convince the group to tag along. He might be a valuable ally to have since he was a protecter with very trustworthy connections.

Scias
"Well, I haven't.. So.."
Scias grabbed himself a plate of food and took a seat.

"So the short of it is that Basil got herself kidnapped. Or killed. Don't really know. Guess Corasi was with her when it happened but she didn't get good sight of the person when it happened."

Zeth

"Oooooooooof course she did. That's what I get for leaving I guess." She didn't seem too particularly upset, jut a tab bit disappointed. The human wasn't that bad. Zeth was kind of warming up to her.
Oh well, it's happened now.
"Umbra would pay a pretty penny to have her in the breeding program I've heard about, maybe the human has been tossed into that. I don't know though..."
She chewed on the side of her lip as she tended to do when she was deeply thinking, which wasn't exactly a common phenomena.
"I am assuming Rey has said something on the matter. Have you two discussed what should be done?"



Traqil

How interesting, how very interesting indeed. He hadn't a clue that they had a human with them. How on earth had a human managed to worm its way into a small group of aliens and alien bounty hunters.
He listened on curiously, now determined to go with them and help in any way he could.
If humans' lives were on the line, he was going to do what he could to guard them, just as he had sworn.

(sorry, was out on errands, came back to 36 pings so going to take me a bit to respond)

Scias
"The plan right now is to have all of us regroup. Sereya and I are also going to work on tracking down Umbra, but if we can manage to get some lead on Basil's location, that's the most we can go for right now.
Halting the army and their operations in their tracks needs to come first."

(I just got back as well. I decided to treat myself to a long bath...then I found out I was allergic to the bath salts lol)

Zethrin

"I have worked with the military and their operations quiet closely, but ever have I even been in the same building as Umbra as far as I am aware. A little bird once told me that Umbra is really hard to find. I think that would be pretty obvious though, considering what he is supposedly wanted for."
Zeth seemed to be talking more to herself than him, setting it all straight in her mind.

"Normally, yeah. But more than likely, he's got hands on X's core. When we die, there's a downed frequency put out to other Daarizi in the area. Me and Rey'd just have to listen out for it."

(Thabks, I'll be fine though. Just a mild reaction.)

Zethrin

"Hm...Got it."
She tapped at her cheek with the fork in her hand, still thinking on all of this.
'Oh, I hope you don't think I'm letting you go anywhere when you are literally a toddler. You are already enough trouble to manage as an adult."
Zethy poked at him teasingly, trying her best to lighten the mood.

Scias
"Har har har. Very funny.
That's why we're setting off tomorrow. Gives me time to get this figured out and for us to come up with a more solid action plan."

Scias crammed the fork in his mouth with a bit of an eyeroll at her.

Zeth

"Alrighty, I'll let you eat."
She wandered off back to the couch and rolled up in her blanket. She might as well get rest while she still can.
