She sighed happily.

Its very comfortable. Her fur is almost like a pillow.

She buried her face in it. It felt sooo nice compared to grass.

She gently rests her head on the ground, curling it around Ferns feet. It feels incredibly nice, and even more comforting. She doesnt have a relationship with her mother, but this must be what being mothered feels like.

She wondered if it was, but even if not she still liked it. It felt so perfect; like she truly was cared about as herself.

Its a strange feeling, but a welcoming one. She, like most of her kind, doesnt have a parent figure; its just not really something they do. But they should, because this is good.

She decided that if she ever had eggs that she'd be a mother figure.

Thats probably a good idea. It probably wouldve been nice to grow up having somebody to take care of her, although she was capable of that herself ever since she hatched.

Despite the capability, she agreed with it probably being nice.She wanted that for her possible later kin.

It'd be a really kind thing to do for them. While she definitely wasn't messed up by only meeting her mother once, she'd definitely be (mentally) better off if she's properly known her and had some help.
