"Well, you're a leg short, love sick, and probably coming down with cabin fever. But when somebody offers you a solution to all of this, you're supposed to say yes." Joe explained.

"You know as well as I do that looking for the Snow Beast is nothing but bringing up bad memories and hurt," Kini defends, "anything else and I'd probally jump for it."

"It didn't have to be the Snow Beast, he was just using an example!" Joe exclaimed.

Kini pins his ears back before storming off, "Fine!"

Joe shot to his feet. "Kini, you know I didn't mean it like that!"

Komodo steps away from where he was at as Kini walks past, "That didn't sound like it went well is everything okay?"
Kini walks outside of the Press.

Joe huffed and sat back down. "Probably not."

"Do you need to go after him while I cover you," Komodo asks while trying to be the voice of reason, " because the way he stormed off seemed pretty bad and he's just making his rounds. Also his injured leg could get worse."

"I'm not sure he'll listen right now.... Can I take you up on that in like five minutes? I think he could use a bit of time to cool off, if you'll excuse the pun." Joe shrugged.

Maxillium set the book down and opened it, the pulled out a journal from uder his desk. "Here. I believe there a few articles on rare gemstones in the volume, but I have extensive notes on the Waverider line in this." He spoke. "Feel free to look through both."

Luna quickly drifted over to the book about the Waverriders before going to the book about the gemstones, "So Selkie was the last one of his family?"


"Of course you hatchling sat for me," Komodo takes over for Joe.
