Jason didn't give way under her this time, not about to let her subdue him this time, and never again he thought would he ever be subdued again. He raised his head and spread his frills and shook his elegant snout. Beaten up and bloodied, dying as well,he still looked royal and regal as ever. His purple eyes deep looked straight at the queen. "No. The scepter was taken neither by the Summer Court nor I. But rather by the threat you choose to ignore and let yourself fall straight into the claws of. The Iron Fey." And without pause,he flicked his tail as a motion to stop either from interrupting him. "And because you didn't see them, nor did anything to stop the war brooding under your own nose, it was taken and almost brought and stuck in the hands of a twisted lady named Virus. She is dead now and the scepter has only been brought to be returned so that you all may stop fighting one another. You must stand together now, because a threat is waiting for you all to tear yourselves apart and to take wake in the end of the destruction.

"Lies!" Mab leaped from her warhorse and stalking toward Jason. The mad gleam was back. "You are a filthy dragon, and all you speak is lies. You turned Ash against me. You made him fight his own brother. You fled Tir Na Nog and sought sanctuary with the exile Leanansidhe. Is this not true?"

He didn't flinch, not one bit. "I didn't force him to do anything,of both actions I spoke against. And I didn't seek her out, only stumbled upon her." He used his smooth dragon tone, calm and firm. His eyes showed no fear, only calamity and honesty.

"You were in the throne room when my son was murdered. Why did they let you live? How did you survive, if it was not the Summer Court behind it all?"

"They only came for the scepter, and he was fatally wounded fighting. The Summer Court had nothing to do with the Iron Fey coming in,and I only survived because of this." he then flicked a talon up in the air besides him and his markings came to a glow, though inside he was struggling with it,and he let white tendrils gently snake around his talons, then they reached up and spikes, deadly sharp, jutted out from the slender lengths of the tendrils.

Mab's eyes went glassy and terrifying, and she raised her hand. You don't talk back to a faery queen and expect to walk away scot-free. But Oberon finally stepped forward, interrupting Mab before she could turn Jason into a Popsicle. "Hold, Lady Mab," he said in a low voice. The Winter Queen turned her mad, killing glare on him, but he faced her calmly. "Just a moment, please." He gave Jason a measuring look. "Please return the scepter to Lady Mab, and let us be done with this."

Jason nodded and let the tendrils disappear as well as his royal markings. He held the scepter out to the queen in one elegant talon, scars lining up the cracks his arm. His scales seemed to bleed a bit from under themselves and despite the pain he was in he still stayed regal and tall. Elegant and royal despite what was going on.

For all its power, it seemed such a small, trivial item, to cause so much hate and confusion and death. For a moment, the Winter Queen stared at Jason, her features cold and blank, letting everyone sweat. Finally, and with great dignity, she reached out and took the scepter, and a great sigh of relief spread across the battlefield. It was done. The Scepter of the Seasons was back where it belonged, and the war was over.

"Now," Oberon said as the ripple died down, "why dont you tell us everything that happened?"

Jason lowered his head respectfully. "I would love to but two faey are fighting at the moment as far as I know, for their lives. Please sir, this war is not done. There is still something yet coming, the Iron Fey." He spoke calmly and now without dragon tone, his head lowered to ripple his back a bit to show the elegance of those rose thorn like spikes along his fragile, yet strong spine.

But the sounds of a struggle interrupted Jason. The crowds shifted, looking around, then stepped out of the way as a trio of faeries came through. Ash and Puck, bleeding, grim-faced and dirty, dragging the spiky frame of a Thornguard between them. Staggering into the circle, they threw the faery at Mab's feet.

Panting, Puck straightened, wiping blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. "There's your proof."
