Drake swims quickly to the beach but stops and goes back into the deeper water without warning. He watches a person on the beach from a distance and motions for Daire to keep back.

Daire follows, though his kelpie form is a lot larger than Drake's selkie.

Drake swims out towards the open water and watches from there. The people on the beach have binoculars and what look like nets.

Daire goes further under the water. He does blend in with the ocean fairly well, with his dark coat and his mane looking like typical sea debris, but it's not a perfect camouflage.

Drake looks around on the surface as a the people on the beach get in a boat sailing in their direction. Drake motions for Daire to dive before quickly doing so himself.

He heads further underwater. He blends in far more easily in the ocean- not perfectly, of course, but without a light or some alternate way to see in the dark, his dark fur blends in well with the nighttime water.

Drake's fur is a little different it's not as dark as Daire's instead Drake's fur is a lighter brown. The boat comes towards them searching with a light on but not in their direction instead the light points towards the beach.

He stays underwater, closely watching the boat and the light.

The boat approaches the shore as the humans on the beach flee. Drake looks over at Daire and smiles, finally recognizing the boat.

He glances at him inquiringly.
