"No! No jobs!" Kaladin excliamed in dismay. "Just... no physical strain..."

"Kaladin I'm fine." Selkie looked at Kaladin. "Plus I'm sick of being cooped up."

"No coops, but no working." The echidna growled.

"Honestly I feel like I'm talking to Skipper or Douglas when you say that minus the weapon of course." Selkie looked Kaladin in the eyes.

Kaladin kept his gaze. "You washed up on a beach-- wounded, might I add-- and you fought anyway. You were healing, and you went out into a strom. You were poisoned, and now you try to work. I'm tired of you acting like this is normal, Selkie. I know you won't die, but I don't want to see you like this..." He said earnestly. "Please..."

"It is normal for me aside from the poison. Do you know how many pirates I have had to fight and me losing was a fluke but fine I won't work until next week if that makes you feel better." Selkie felt some sympathy for him remembering how Yannis told his father the same thing one night when he was very young.

Kaladin stared at him a moment, then nodded. "Thank you...."

Selkie just took a breath and sat back down at the table. "Your welcome. I just worry about one thing though."

"That being...?" The echidna inquired.

"Seaweed he hasn't come around once while I was down and that is never a good sign." Selkie told Kaladin. "Normally Seaweed comes around once in a few days and it has been nearly a week."
