Casey sighs and goes to look around.

Leon reaches a hand out to her. "Please don't g....." His hand falls and his eyes close.

Carl doesn't listen and runs deeper into the city.

Kara closed her eyes and slowly sat back down. "Okay... I won't." She said looking at him watching him breathe.

Nathaniel runs harder his back hurting him. Right now the fear of the last time Carl was along in the city making him keep going.

Madison's small form ran past Nathaniel and she soon caught up to Carl only a few feet behind him. "Carl!" She yelled panting hoping to get him to stop.

Casey returns with a stretcher. "Guess it is our lucky day, now to get him on it with out hurting him more...." the man thinks for a moment. "Can someone lend me a hand?"

Kate starts to come to again. Her first thought was that the lady that knock her out was going to pay for it.

Carl runs faster, bumping into a... horse?

The rider of the said horse was almost as startled as the boy. "whoa! Trail whoa!" The young man says to the horse to calm it.

Kara nods. "I'm here." She said putting her arms under Leon grabbing the back of his shirt keeping his head and neck still with her arms.

Madison keeps running bumping into Carl. "What the...?!" She said landing on her butt.

Nathaniel rounded the corner and came to a halt. "Carl!" He yelled grabbing the boy's arms.

Casey garbs Leon's legs and lifts him up onto the stretcher. "Any certain room you want him in?" the man asks thinking it was nice to include her.

Trail paws at the ground, not happy that the kid had bumped into him. The man turns the horse around. "Your boy alright? I meant not to hurt him if i did."

Carl fights Nathaniel's grasp. "Let go of me!" he screams.

Kara shrugs. "The back room is clean. I did it myself." She said slipping her hand into Leon's.

Nathaniel held tightly to Carl. "Carl! Listen ta me!" He said shaking the boy. "Ya can't keep runnin' from people who care 'bout ya. It ain't fair"

Madison hides behind Nathaniel scared of the man.

Karen smiles as she watches from the top of the parking garage. "So we aren't the only one's left..." She muttered to herself crouching down watching them as she hid.

Lola looks over at Karen who was hidding. "What's happening?" She asked getting closer.

Casey nods. "Want to lead the way then?" Has asks not sure where to go.

The man slides down off the horse. "Im sorry that a scared you, please you have to help me.." Trail nudges the man forward.

Carl stops screaming when he get the first good look at the man. "Nathaniel..." Carl whispers when he sees the man condition. Not only was the mans arm badly burnt, by what Carl did not want to know, but his other hand was missing most of its fingers. The man's face was bruised to the point that his left eye was swollen shut, a black circle formed around it, and his face was covered in cuts, some bleeding.

Kara shrugs and puts her other hand on the cart starting to push it down the hall. She was stil angry with him for the little team up he and Leon did. She would have been fine, she always was.

Nathaniel lets go of Carl's arms looking at the man. "Oh my God. What happened ta ya?" He asked.

Madison held onto Carl's arm hidding behind his shoulder.

Karen looks at them sitting up a bit.

Lola smiled. "Look, they have a little girl." She said excitedly then looked behind her. "De, Dan. Come look at this!" She said as the two came over.

Danni pulled her overall strap up one her shoulders again. "Well that's a sight for sore eyes." She said looking at Nathaniel. "Dibs." She said and Dede punched her in the arm. "Hey!"

Dede waved her finger at Danni. "No calling dibs Dan. It isn't fair." She said tossing the orb in her hand up then catching it.

Karen sighed. "Come on girls. He probably has kids or something." She said standing up. "Well I vote we help them."

Casey sighs. "Im sorry this happened to him, you two seem close for some reason. I wish there was more I could do."

The man thinks for a moment. "I'm not all that sure, but let me tell you kids, never go out in the city at night. " the man looks at his hand. "Two and a half, they took almost three damn fingers."

Carl tugs on Nathaniel's shirt. "We need to help him.."

Kara swallowed hard. "Yeah. Me too." She said briefly as she opened the cell door.

Nathaniel nodded. "S***." He said looking behind him. "Sorry, bad word. I don't remember which way we came..." He said looking at Carl and the crying Madison. He looked up when he heard some motorcycles starting. "Damn, what now?" He said drawing his gun thinking the gang might be back.

Karen smiled as they came out of the parking garage. They circled once around the group and stopped. "um Hi." She said looking at the scared girl. "Heard you guys were in a bit of a fix. And no offense to the horse, our bikes are faster."

Lola walked over to the girl smiling. "Hi, I'm Lola. You don't have to be scared." She said staying a few feet away.

Madison clung to Carl still scared.

Danni smiled. "Hey, This is Dede, Karen and Lola.." She said walking closer to Nathaniel. "And I'm Danni."

Dede smiled as she walked over next to Danni. "So you guys need a ride back? I could give you a lift." She said winking at Nathaniel. Danni punched her in the arm. "What was that for?!" De yelled. "Doesn't the word Dibs mean anything to you?" She whispered and the two started fighting.

Karen rolled her eyes. "Sorry about them. So you want some help?"
