"Mhm." Sibnele doesn't seem like he really cares what Sammy says. He flips another page. "I will say it's annoying that you're not scared of me. I can't even draw anything from you."

The girl summons an identical whip and tilts her head. "So bold of you to claim an entire mind. One's a lonely number, you know. . ."

"Why is it annoying...?" I ask moving my head to the side.

"i like it that way," she says wrapping it around her arm.

"You don't have any negative emotion - well, just not enough, that is. I can't absorb any energy from you," Sibnele says. "Spiritual energy is best for me, but when I run out, I take emotional auras."

The girl twitches her whip. "Oh, how funny. So do I. . .there must be a way to settle this. . .territorial dispute."

I nod slowly "well theres only one thing Im scared of... And its hard to pull out of me... Im not that negative which is good... I guess..." I say shrugging slightly.

"Well, la-dee-da. Congratulations, you're an optimist," Sibnele mutters. A few awkward minutes pass, and he has a little coughing fit. "Oh, cough fun. I need to leave soon. . .cough"

"Optimists are annoying narcissistic jerks... Always perky... I prefer to think myself as a smartass... Or extremely sarcastic..." I say tapping my chin then looking ay Sibnele in worry.

He scowls at you. "What's that look for?" Sibnele looks quite drained and pale.

"Are you alright...?" I ask still looking worried.

"No," Sibnele grumbles. "When I made that truce with Iskren, I didn't want to risk guessing he'd count the small things. As a result, I haven't taken in any auras for. . .a while. Same goes with souls." He looks back at his book. "One would think I'd be able to re-absorb my own soul, but that's clearly not the case."
