Greg looks at the man. "Did you say Leon?" His face was expressionless, his hands clenched into fists.

Casey digs through the bag finding the tube. "On the count of three move your hands. One..."

Carl follows. "I doubt it. Father would not let her get hurt, but he sure let me."

Kara forces herself to breath steadily tears still running down her face. "If that's a problem... you might want to leave before I..." She felt a little someone hug her from behind crying. She knew it had to be Opal. She wiped at her eyes. She needed to try to be strong for her. "You can guess."

Jules nodded. "...Two...Three." She said lifting her hand grabbing some bandages.

Madison stops moving and turns around looking at Carl. "Don't say that... At least not around Mom, she'll hate herself and think that you hate her."

Casey dabs the cream on the wound hoping it would work. The bleeding slowly to a faint trickle then stops all together. "Bandages." He says holding out a bloody hand.

Greg backs away more. "Don't trust him..."

Carl looks at her. "But it's true."

Jules hands him the bandages. She held her breath as she slowly and gently ran her hand down Leon's back seeing how badly it was broken.

Kara ignores the man and everyone else looking into Leon's eyes. "Why the hell did you do that?" She asked holding the back of his hand to her chest.

Madison sighed. "I know. But Mom and Dad are happy together, could you ever really hurt him by making Mom think that she's coming in between you two?" She asked opening the door.

Casey stands wiping his hands on his pants. "I don't think anything else was hit by the bullet, but his spine is in deed broken. I don't know if any nerves were cut therefore I don't know if he will ever be able to walk again. Jules have anything to add?"

Leon closes his eyes. "For you..." He whisperes in a faint voice.

Carl nods. "I could have died yesterday and where was he? Up in that room with her!"

Jules glared up at Casey. "Besides that your optimism is astounding? There's a little bit of good news out of all this." She said standing. "The bullet hit gust near the nerve that goes to his arms so even if it's cut, he's likely to regain control over his arms." She touches Opal's arm. "Come on sweet, let's go make Leon a get well soon card." She said thinking that it would work and she had a feeling that it be better for Kara and Leon to talk alone.

Opal nodded as she smiled a little. "I'll be back Mister Leon." She said kissing his cheek as she skipped down the hall holding Jules' hand.

Kara shook her head. "You didn't have to. I should have been the one they shot. It would have been better for everyone if I just die..." She said crying.

Madison sighs. "Then he couldn't have known what was happening, And besides Nathaniel was there and he saved you. Do you want to hurt him too?" She said calmly.

Casey sighs. "Someone want to help me get him to a room?" Casey asks. He looks around for something to put the man on as to not hurt him more.

Leon shakes his head slowly. "No don't say that, it was my choice that I made. I knew she was going to shoot me, and I knew I would live from the shot." He gasps. "I'm not as dumb as I look."

Carl growls some. "But he is not even my real brother! Then he played with that thing I coughed up! How would that make you feel?!"

Kara shook her head. "No. You didn't... and you only made that choice after I showed up." She said turning her face away from him. "It would've been better if you just never knew me."

Madison sighed. "He didn't know. And how do you think it'd make him feel if he heard you say that." She said then froze when someone spoke behind her. "I have ta bet it'd make him feel like the mistake he was." She turned slowly to see Nathaniel standing behind her. Her older brother shrugged. "But that's just what I think." He said walking out the door.

Brenda work with a start from a dream. She sat up panting from fear.

Casey sighs. "Not everyone jump up at once." He sighs. "I'm going to go look for something to lay him on, I'll be back."

Leon shakes his head. "I would have done it for anyone one, but I don't think i would have risked that much on anyone but you."

Carl let his jaw drop. "I-I" he stops, his eye cold. He turns running away into the city hoping he would die.

Kara shakes her head. "No. I'm not worth it. I never have been..." She said setting his hand down standing up. "I should just leave and give you a better chance."

Nathaniel closed his eyes and chases after the boy. "Carl! Get back here!" He yelled.

Madison chased after both of them hoping to be able to help.

Brenda spun her head around looking for anyone. "Margo?" She said scared.
