"Maybe you shouldn't leave that window open," Maya suggests walking in the room, "if the thief misses, she could hit you. Or maybe some other way of deterring her from firing arrows into the room."
Lenori shakes her head, "How else would the thief get a message to us? Olvan why don't you read the message? After all Maya told me that the Keeper specifically wanted to talk to you. And you know we can't afford to lose the talisman."
The message in the arrow tells Olvan to meet them at the Black Bear in and find a symbol worn by three. The note also specifically explained that Olvan could bring two allies and only two. After that line there was a line that wrote, "If you bring Seth, the Greencloak with the blood hound familiar named Buddy, I will not reveal myself and will take the talisman with me."
Seth limps towards Olvan's door noting it open he enters, "Well the thief strikes again. How bad were the casualties this time?"


Ashia goes over to Jackson, "How much would it cost to rent a room for a meeting with the leader of the Greencloaks and two members? Food included. I'll pay the costs, but I think you should know that I plan on meeting with them here. If you want the meeting to be elsewhere, I'm welcome to suggestions." One of the arrows in Ashia's quiver was fletched slightly differently a signal to the Greencloaks that she was one of the Keepers. Justin had a similar pattern etched on a small badge he had as did a stranger.

Olvan reads the note out loud. He is aware that Seth couldn't come but still smiles and nods in greeting when Seth enters the room. "No one has died from message arrows from the thief yet." He says in response. Olvan would make sure to tell Seth he could not come along with him as he met up with the thief; he hoped Seth would not come uninvited.

Jackson smiles when Ashia approaches. "Long time, no see." He says cheerfully. He offers a price as well as a discount for Ashia, Justin, Brandon, and Jay. He notices the difference in the arrow but doesn't know why. He doesn't think too much about it.

Ashia grimaces at the price, "I don't quiet have that much on me. I can offer something else in return though."
The strange reaches into her coat and fishes out the amount Jackson asked for. After that she goes over to Brandon and summons her spirit animal, Phantom, a panther as well. Her black hair and dark eyes matched Phantom's coat, "I was told you have a panther too. My name is Diana."
"Thank you, Diana," Ashia responds, "I hope that will cover it and I promise no trouble."
Justin wonders if the Greencloaks will keep that promise.


Buddy growls and Seth looks more than a little annoyed.
"We want the Keepers on our side and the thief is a Keeper," Lenori explains for Seth storms out, "I guess he was counting on using this to catch the thief."
"Still can't blame me for being cautious," Maya mutters, "May I ask who you are taking with you?"

Jackson nods, "Alright then. Thank you. Enjoy your stay." He was glad to hear that there would be no trouble. Jay and he fall into a conversation.
Brandon had been relaxing with his sister, who was reading a book. He was seated beside her and playing with her pen. He had been watching the new Keeper and he looks to his sister for guidance on his next course of action when she approaches. He returns his attention to Diana when Hazel doesn't give him any tip.
He smiles hesitantly in greeting, "Hello, Diana. My name is Brandon. I do." He nods to where his panther is stretched out and soaking up the sun. Matamba opens an eye to look out of curiosity at Diana and Phantom before she is satisfied and closes her eyes again.

Olvan nods and says that he is thinking about it. "If you two want to come with me, you can since the Keepers have not said you cannot come." He looks to Lenori and admits that if she has a better idea for who he should bring along that he would accept her advice.
He did not expect the Keepers to react violently unless Seth appeared or the other Greencloaks were hostile. Olvan checked off Mae and Seth as possible others to come with him because of their relationship with the Keepers. He wanted a well rounded party to come with him, just in case things turned for the worse.

"I think having people who are familiar with how the Keepers look could come in handy. Plus, Maya and Rue are good in a fight. When do you plan on going to the meeting," Lenori asks.
Maya nods once worriedly, "If you want, I can go get the horses ready." Maya tries not to show how nervous she was. Truth be told she didn't trust Ashia or the Keepers in general, but something especially made Maya distrust Ashia.


"Thank you," Ashia says as she takes a seat at a table. She was trying to stay calm but the thought of talking to the leader of the Greencloaks was nerve racking. Diana smiles at Brandon, "Nice to meet you, Brandon. If you don't mind my asking how is your bond?"
Phantom sniffs around looking for a piece of fresh prey. Sniffing the air Phantom catches a whiff of Jay's scent and stalks in Jay's direction.

"Sounds good. I plan on going as soon as possible. I don't want to delay the Keepers." Olvan puts the note down and thinks about offering one of the Greencloak archers the arrow.
"If you wouldn't mind doing that, that would be great. Thank you, Maya." Olvan smiles at her.

Brandon shrugs. "It's alright, I suppose. I've never been as good with my bond as others."
Jay doesn't notice Phantom stalking closer. He helps Jackson wherever he can and enjoys spending time with him. Barnabas is in passive state at the current moment and Stellar is outside, keeping watch.

Phantom stalks closer to Jay ready to in for the attack. Diana notices Phantom's disappearance before looking around. Calmly she starts tracking the big cat and eventually sees Phantom and his potential prey. Diana calls out to Jay to not move as she persuades Phantom to leave Jay alone. She walks over to Brandon with Phantom in tow, "Want to work on your bond?"


Maya quickly goes and gets the horses ready. Once Maya had left Lenori speaks, "Is there anything you aren't telling the others about this trip? I mean do you think you've met the Keepers before?"

Jay freezes up when given the head up and doesn't move until Phantom has gone with Diana. He becomes a bit more alert and attentive after that.
Brandon watches from a distance and observes Phantom and Diana. "Yes please." He notes on the topic of working on his bond.

(*error* I forgot whether or not Olvan has met the Keepers before. I am pretty sure that he knows Ashua's father... I think.)

(I leave that to you. Lenori was just hinting at the vision she had.)

Diana nods once, "What do you and your bond like to do? If you strength that relationship, then your bond will be strengthened. From there you have to develop trust with your bond. It's how I learned though are vastly different ways."

"We like to chase butterflies and fetch sticks sometimes. Matamba enjoys knocking down every house of cards I've ever built." Brandon glances towards where Matamba was laying around and letting the time drift by. "It doesn't seem like she wants to do much more than people watch at the moment," he notes.

Olvan says that he thinks he knew the thief's father, but he isn't sure. Then he asks Lenori why she wanted to know, just to refresh his memory.
