A few coworkers who were friends of hers saw, they smiled. They thought that Felinus was interested in Luna.
Luna let out a sigh.
" you'll smoothie will be done shortly, and as for your other request, I will take you up on your offer."

After pacing up and down the street a couple more times, Sonic settled on the faster option and zipped down the road towards the nearest breakfast-serving fast food restruant; a cheap joint that, despite being something out of a dieter's nightmare, served a rather decent breakfast sandwich.

Felinus smiled softly with relief, "Great I'll meet you there at around five o'clock." He took a seat to wait and fought not to blush as he saw several girls behind the counter smiling and glancing at him. They were not even subtle about it. He glanced out the window with a soft sigh. No one said being a hero would be easy...and as a detective he should really be more used to embarrassing situations like this. He just hoped Rune would not be too upset with him for the little charade. Maybe they could work out a better way to contact each other later tonight. Whether there were any Cainars here or not he had a feeling they would need it.

Luna's coworkers were teasing her about the whole situation. It was going to be a long day at work.
She quickly made the smoothie and brought it to Felinus table.
She then went back to the counter to continue work as if nothing happened trying to ignore her coworkers

A few hours later Felinus flopped on his bed with a groan. The final meeting with his client was exasperating. Understandably the lady had been upset. However her initial idea of using him to make her soon to be former boyfriend jealous was not something he wanted any part of. Thankfully he was able to convince her that his ordinary clothes, and lack of wealth, not to mention his occupation, would fail to impress the wealthy businessman.

Lifting his head he glanced at the clock. He had a few hours before he had to meet Rune. Carefully setting his alarm he lay down to catch a much needed catnap.

Rune had gotten off work early
She then had gone home and used the fire escape to get to the roof
She had a nice view from there to watch the world go by

Sonic strolled along the downtown streets, flashing warm grins at anyone he happened to pass by. After trying to relocate Knuckles without much sucess, the hedgehog had decided that he wasn't going to put the rest of the day on hold waiting for him to show up.

Sonic paused as he happened upon an event bulletin, ears perked up in slight interest. "Well, what've we got here...?" He mumbled to himself as he read over the colorful posters. One in particular caught his eye; A light blue sheet advertising some sort of festival on one of the local beaches, scheduled for the weekend. Sonic smiled to himself, taking a mental note to check that out later.

She could see him from where she was sitting
She had seen him take out some robots before, so he was most likely one of the local hero's
She sat there, watching him
