Jacie looked at Moon and Cresent(or something like that). "Yeah. Wish I had wings." she said, and then started talking about another book, because why not.
Lance jumped, and turned quickly, his fist already moving to deliver a punch to the lions jaw. "Whoops. Sorry." he said, and held himself back.

Jacie smiled back, and promptly tripped on a root because she wasn't looking where she was going. She put out an arm to steady her, but a tree branch raked across it instead. Jacie bit back a yelp of pain as she rolled to break her fall. She shakily got back up, and stared at the straight line of growing red on her forearm.
Lance was trotting along behind. Then they reached the rest. Lance gulped, and took deep breaths of air. Any sign of blood made him feel lightheaded, like he was about to throw up.

Lance gave Kimba a fleeting glare before turning to the nearest tree and emptying his gut. "Ugh." Lance shivered, and Seafoam wasn't making it any better with his soft laughing.
Jacie smiled at her, and nervously looked around her again. "Thanks. I'll watch my feet from now on." she said, trying to act nonchalant.
