Ember stayed with Scout as long as he needed her to.


Luna went back to grazing.

Scout's ears were flat against his head, but not in anger. He stood over his mother, not caring if anyone caught him right now. Or if anything else bad happened. He nickered, "you can go now, Ember. If you want."

Electra resumed eating the grass

"If you want to talk just say so." Ember offered before disappering.


Luna grazed as well.

He nudged his mom again, his long reddish mane brushing against the ground

Electra ate until she was full

Windchime looked at Electra as if trying to decide something.

Ember stayed near him just out of sight.

Electra didn't notice, just sniffed the soil

Scout sighed through his nose, walking slowly away from his mom. He wasn't sure where he was going, but he didn't care, either. His head was low

Ember walked close to him making sure he didn't get hurt or in danger.


Windchime dicided after a while Electra would be alright with the herd.

Scout's muzzle was so low now that the grasses were tickling him. He wasn't really hungry or thirsty at the moment

Electra trotted over to Bailey. "Hi!" Bailey looked up. "Hello."

Luna watched them.


Ember trotted next to Scout.

Scout found what he called home in a patch of trees and laid on his side

Bailey went back to grazing and Electra went off to find someone more interesting to talk to
