Then GO! Ill find a way to put it out without dying... probably...
She said between coughs. Crystal grimaced, and transformed into her dragon form. She searched for a water source, and flew to it. She swallowed as much of it as she could, flapped back and dumped out as much as possible. The burning area was soaked, and the trees smoked. Crystal struggled to stay in the air. By swallowing the water, some of the fire on her insides had been put out. She had no controle over her body, and she became human mid air. She blacked out before she even hit the grass of the clearing.

It all happened too fast. First the girl was shouting then she had shifted. He was actually surprised that someone like her was a shifter though she seemed about to do so on command better than he could. As the dragon went overhead he ducked, covering his face in his hands as he coward to the ground. He looked up only when it had left. What the hell?! The first survivor he ingaged with in how long and this happens? When the dragon came back he did better to control himself and keep from flinching away. He even managed to catch the girl when she fell. The scabs on his fore arms cracked as he caught her, blood and puss seeping from the burns. Great...not he had this to deal with. With a sigh Adam looked around, finding no other solution other than to take the girl in for the time being. With that he took her back, laying her on the cot. After that he set to making her something for the cough, and to help her gain some strength back. He used it on himself when he changed so he knew it would be helpful. Once the mixture was made he carefully unwrapped the bandages on his arms, outside of the storage container so that if the girl did wake she wouldn't be able to see. The wounds had started to heal rather nicely though they were still raw and hard to look at. Wincing he removed the old bandages and wrapped new ones around his arms after putting a great amount of aloe vera on the wounds.

The first thing Crystal felt was a burning in her arms. Then, it seared, and tingled. A little voice inside her head said,
You didnt think that I would let those heal, did you?
Her eyes snapped open. ******. She didnt know where she was, and her fore arms had been carved in again. They said the same things, but these were cut deeper. Crystal sighed, and sat up. Her head spun, and she looked around. Oh... she must be in that odd storage container.
She groaned.
Crystal stood up, and decided that she should probably get going. She grabbed her backpack, put it on, grabbed a smoke and lit it, using some fire that was left inside her. She put it between her lips.
Crystal peeked out the door, saw the man, and slipped around to the other side.

"Leaving already?" Adam asked pulling his glove back on before standing. "You should probably rest some, it's not wise to just go walking off like that after shifting. I have extra food and water, you should stay and eat."

Ugh... I only feel like ****** because Ive shifted, what, 3 times in succession today? Also... I dont really eat. Lately, I havent wanted to care about food, sleep, health. Heh, fitting isnt it. Ill be on my way... thanks, anyways.
Crystal said over her shoulder. She took a long drag of her smoke, blew out the smoke, although she had just escaped death from it. She trudged foreword.

"You know you really shouldn't push yourself, one of these days you're not going to be able to go forward." The man said putting the dirty bandages away. He hadn't a pile of used cloth, most of it being for his wounds. He really needed to go wash them. "I don't mind if you stay and rest, or just stay around. It would be nice to have company for once."

She turned around, her eyes half lidded. She snapped her fingers.
Do I need to spell it out for you? Thats the point. To get as much done, before I drop dead. But, you seem like a lonely hermit, so Ill hang out for a bit.
She said blankly.
She rubbed her eyes, then took another long drag.

"I may be lonely but I'm not a hermit. I get around." Adam said gathering the dirty clothes and putting them all in a separate bag. Tomorrow would definitely have to be laundry day. "So what's your name?"

She sighed.
Crystal.
She said, blowing out a large mouthful of smoke.
You?
She asked, simply out of politeness.

"Adam..." The man answered. He hadn't heard that name in a long time, ever since he had lost his group. But he shouldn't think of such things. "Sure you're not hungry? As I said I have extra food."
