YES! lol I went back and looked, (liked Cat said), and saw that it was to you. :D I would get TONS of breeders for her. every day there was someone breeding her.
i have to admit. i though i saw quite a few in that color. but oh well. :) good for you. and glad you like her. (heh. broken record says..."if only they'd change the females eyes back")

hah. i can relate. it's hard for me to go some place to sign up, and not be able to use 'witchy' i've been 'witchy' for so long.

Oh I know! Each species has so many possible traits combinations.. and then add the basically unlimited amount of color options! They release new traits quite frequently too, so that's always nice to mix things up.



When it comes to breeding, there are few important things to remember:

First, pets cannot breed with one of their parents or siblings, even if only a half sibling.

The second is all percentages.. if a pet carries a trait, there is a 50% chance the offspring will carry, 25% chance for visible trait and 25% chance of nothing. If the pet has a visible trait there I believe it's a 50% chance to be visible, 25% carry and 25% nothing. If both parents have the visible trait, it's a 100% chance to have offspring with that trait.

Thirdly.. common and rare traits. If you look at the generators, each pet has a set of traits for each gene/mut slot. The higher on the list it is, the more common. The bottom of the list is more rare. So, if you are breeding two pets that carry a different trait in the same slot.. the one closer to the top of the list is the trait most likely to appear.

Lastly, it is possible for a pet to have a visible AND carried trait in the same slot. Usually the recessive gene is the one more rare in the set. The only way to know what the recessive gene is to breed and see what happens. If you go to the advanced search and look at a pet.. traits listed in green are carried, traits in blue are visible and traits in purple are visible, with a hidden recessive gene. I *believe* this is the only way to know whether or not you pet carries a hidden gene.

Edit: I have to say, I really like the breeding aspect of this game.. it's so in depth. But, again you could probably tell if you saw my 25ish tabs of pets and dozen or so breeding projects, hah.
