Falconi flew after Strike kind of awkwardly, "That's when we aren't missing primary feathers. The boss will be waiting you go first and I'll follow."


Kini nods once, "Make sure to have something warm on it's going to be cold."

Joe smiled and twitched his bushy tail. "I'll be okay."

Strike rolled his eyes and went inside.

Mama Winter was sitting in a large chair in the room, "Strike welcome I assume your mission was a success." Her icy blue eyes tracked Strike's every move while the rest of her seemed oddly calm.
(Don't know how to answer that question but I was just thinking of the mole from the movie Zootopia the one with the polar bears.)


"Okay," Kini took a few steps toward the door while trying to show he was in pain.

(Is her gang like the mafia? Like, they care about eachother like family but you better not mess with them?)

"Yes ma'am, we've got the goods." Strike replied confidently, pulling a loaded backpack off his shoulders.

Joe frowned. "We can stay here a bit if you aren't ready?"

(Basically but what she is also doing is her version of indimidation.)

"Good. I assume you're hungry,' Winter snaps her fingers and a table is brought out by several polar bears and trays brought out by penguins, "Thank you.''
One the penguins looks at Strike carefully motioning for him to be careful.
"So where is Falconi you two normally partner up,'' Winter asks picking up a plate.

Strike nodded once to the penguin. "Eh, I went in ahead of 'im. Dunno what's keeping 'im though." He replied. He saw no reason to be intimidated, as eagles often tended to, so he was fine with being transpearent.

"Anything else," Mama Winter asks, "oh don't be shy they're plently of food for successful hunters."
The penguin quickly made for the exit.
Falconi limps in his wing drooping, "Sorry I'm late boss."

"Eh, no thanks. I'mma good. But to answer your question, yeah. Had a run-in with that snow leopard and the deserter. Taught 'em a quick lesson." Strike replied.

Mama Winter sat up oviously intrested, "Did you finish the job? And is that the reason your wing is dropping Falconi?"
"Yes ma'am I got bitten by the dragon," Falconi answers.
"Go get treated Falconi you can give me your report later while your partner tells me what he did," Mama Winter motions for Falconi to go and he does.

"Nah. Roughed 'em up real good but didn't finish 'em off. Falconi's hardy but you know how how nasty Komodo bites are. Wasn't worth it if we didn't wanna loose a bird or the cargo. Could probably use blood trails to track 'em down again if we wanted though." Strike replied.

(He speaks in a 'Jersey accent, just puttin' that out there.)
