Lycan helps her if necessary but generally just lets her do it. He writes down the recipe in a small notebook and gives it to her after she finishes.

Lycan goes to his room to get the board and comes back. He sets the board up on the table and proceeds to teach Peg how to play.
"Choose a small pond with stones in it and move those stones one at a time into the next ponds until you run out of stones. If the stone hits the big pond on your side and you finish in that pond, chose another small pond."
