She pulls away and hides her red face in his chest.

"Aw, come on, don't be shy, I'm blushing too," he said hugging her tightly as he gently carried her out of the water.

She whines, not really liking that she's so weak when it comes to him, but at the same time, liking knowing that he's the only one who could make her feel that way.

Ace smiled and blushed even harder "my little buttercup, there is no need to whine," he said softly kissing her on her cheek before setting her down gently on the ground.

She blushes even more and looks up at him, eyes slightly wide at the nickname. "B-Buttercup?"

"That's right," he said his face feeling warm as he sat down and gently placed her into his lap "your my buttercup."

She blushes more, and places her head on his shoulder. "O-okay...."

Ace held her close, never wanting the moment to end "I lo-ove yo-ou," he stuttered feeling his face go red, it was the first time that had ever happened.

She blushes more, so much in fact, that he can feel the heat radiating off her cheeks. "I-I l-love yo-you t-too A-Ace...."

"Your getting warm," he said softly putting a hand on her cheek and pulling her closer. He then proceeded to kiss her on the lips, he pulled away a couple seconds later and whispered in her ear "your so pretty, you know I am happy I met you my buttercup."
