With a bit of effort Lycan jumps down from the bookcase without knocking it down.
He transforms back into his human form, "What gave me away?"

She shrugs. "I smelled you."

"I'll keep that in mind for the future. I hope I don't smell too bad," Lycan jokes, "Alright your turn to go hide, and this time I promise I won't turn into a wolf."

She giggles and nods, then runs off to hide.

Lycan slowly counts to twenty before attempting to find Peg.

She's nowhere to be found.

Lycan checks in the cabinets, behind the furniture, even on the bookcase. He hopes Peg didn't go outside but he checks outside for a sign anyway.

She's not in any of those places either.

Lycan debates breaking his promise but decides against it and keeps searching for Peg. He searches the kitchen, the living room, and knocks on Peg's bedroom door.

A few of the floorboards in the living room seem a bit different from the others- they're a tiny bit firmer than the others.
