Basil

She nodded sweetly and began to walk off. It had been a while since she had gone out. She usually didn't cover herself. Her white har and honey eyes made her look inhuman enough not to be questioned most of the time.


Traqil

He suddenly looked totally revolted. "Has Zeth never offered you one? How dare she..." His head snapped in her direction, eyes narrowed. "Zethrin Torrent Palentine, get over here!"

Zeth

She got slightly nervous, flipping over her next card... a TEN! No way he would top that.

She heard Traqil call after her and whined.."Whatttt now?" She tossed the rest of her cards on the table and stomped over, clearly disappointed in the interruption.

(Wait... whelp, that's sad, cuz I'm picking the numbers myself and Hexic loses!)

Hexic flipped over a 6 for his next card. He was losing, but he didn't completely mind.

Scias
Scias seemed completely lost at this point, only muttering quietly.
"You almost sound like her dad or something.."

She followed Basil adjusting her "mask" from time to time. She was hoping to not meet any unfriendly exterminators on the way. She touched the dagger, moving it into her sleeve.

Zeth

"He's not my dad, but he is my honorary brother, and the only person who truly scares me." She whispered as she passed Scias.

"What?" she asked Traqil with crossed arms and a furrowed brow.

Traquil

"They have never had a Chibana." Was all he said, and with an eye roll, Zeth got busy.


Basil

"It's not to far, and I heard they serve good food."

"Alright. As long as you trust the place." She was fiddling with the dagger in her sleeve. She was trying to make it stay in her sleeve, which was a harder task than she previously thought.

Scias
"He." Scias corrected. "I know my species is a little weird about that because we don't.. uh.." He paused for a second almost in revulsion.
"I mean, I know it's hard to tell when I'm all ratted out, but you don't have to dance around it or anything."
He gave a shrug.

"You both still never told me what this chibana thing is. Sounds kinda gross. What's even the big deal with it?"

Traqil

"Oh, um, ha, I meant the two of you...you and Hexic. I'd assume he hasn't had it either." Traqil said with a nervous chuckle. "Anyway, Chibana is a dessert we traditionally prepare when we have quests over. I always keep the ingredients around, just in case. I am not actually sure Hexic can eat it...our kind eats straight minerals...Anyway, is is various gems mixed in a particular fashion. The ingredients are rather expensive so we really really make it for guests. Fro what I have been told, your kind can eat pretty much everything."

Zeth

She fished a few things out of Traqil's shelves and cabinets, preparing the small dish. She didn't look super thrilled about working in the kitchen, but she did as she was told reluctantly.


Basil

"Ya, we should be fine." Basil saw it coming up around the corner. "That's it! Ready?"

Since Zethrin had left, Hexic wasn't really doing anything. Alright, he may have turned into a... whatever-it's-name-is lizard for a few moments, but that doesn't count as anything.

"Ready." She had the dagger's handle in the palm of her hand, just in case.
